Beautiful college with good faculty, nice people of Assam, zero ragging, and good sports facilities.

Placements: I don't have an idea about how many students get placed, but it is more than 85 percent in electrical engineering, as they go to the core sector and the non-core sector. I do not have an idea about the highest and the lowest packages. Top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Cognizant. I do not have an idea about internships. My course students become electrical engineers, and if they go to non-core sectors, then they can become software engineers.

It offers good education and facilities. Placements are better for non-core roles.

Placements: 50-60 percent of students got placements in the civil course. The highest package offered last year was 19.90 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are L&T Construction, Tata Projects, NCC Limited, etc. 70-80 percent of students got internship opportunities. Top roles offered in our course are site engineer, design engineer, quality control engineer, planning engineer, etc.

My review about this college.

Placements: There is a placement cell which invites a lot of companies and firms for job opportunities. There are also opportunities for those who are willing to be an entrepreneur because students and the college also organize many times of hands-on workshops, research projects, and internships, as well as eminent scientists and professors talk to encourage students. So many companies come to recruit people. Internship fairs are organized by the placement cell of our college, and they recruit students from...

Fees are lower compared to other NITs.

Placements: Placement of our college is really amazing as compared to all the NITs in India. As this year is 2025, the highest placement stood at 96 LPA from the mechanical engineering department, which is really a great thing. Also, the average placement of our college is 13 LPA, which is really good.

The college and the surroundings are also very good.

Placements: In the B.Tech Mechanical Engineering course, around 75–80 percent of students get placed in the latest placement drive. The highest package offered is around 18 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. The average package is nearly 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata Motors, Mahindra, L&T, JSW, Cummins, Vedanta, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Nearly 60 percent of students receive internships, with companies like Tata Steel, JSW, IOCL, HPCL, and L&T offering good opportunities. Top roles offered are Graduate...

Satisfied with the placement record in the last 3 years.

Placements: As I am from the CSE batch, my college has a good placement record overall and a better one in the CSE branch. In my course, nearly 70 per cent were placed, and the highest package was 55 LPA in 2025 and an average package of over 15 LPA in CSE. Oracle, Tata, and Atlantis are top recruiters. Some students also got placed at Amazon and Microsoft. Over 40-50 per cent of students have internship opportunities. Data scientists and data engineers are the top roles offered during placement.
