The official college website currently has not released any information regarding the placement of LLM. Details regarding the placements of BAs and LLBs are available in the NIRF report. The placement information for the 2023 graduating class is still pending in the official site. On its official website, the institute has, nevertheless, made available the NIRF report for 2023. One BA LLB (Hons) student was placed at NLU Assam placements in 2021, according the NIRF report 2023. Additionally, INR 7.63 LPA was the median package provided to BA LLB students during NLU Assam placements in 2021.

Located in Guwahati, Assam, India, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA or NLUJAA) is a national law university. It was founded in 2009 as a public university specialising in legal education by an Act approved by the Assamese State Legislature (Assam Act XXV of 2009). The 60-acre National Law University and Judicial Academy campus is located in the Amingaon neighbourhood, a municipality outside of Guwahati City. The academic and administrative buildings, as well as the residence halls for boys and girls, are located on campus. Along with the library, it also houses the conference room, dining hall, moot court hall, multipurpose gymnasium, and other facilities. 

NLUJAA, is ranked 28 by NIRF 2023 ranking amongst other NLUs. The NIRF 2023 was approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and launched by the Honourable Minister of Education on June 5 2023. By passing the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, the Assam government established the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA). It's one of India's autonomous law schools. In 2021 the institute was ranked 20 among the law universities by NIRF. The NLUJAA offers a one-year degree curriculum in LLM and a five-year integrated course in BA-LLB (Hons). A PhD in law is also offered by the university. The 60-acre, lush, verdant campus is located outside of Guwahati in the Amingaon neighbourhood. The academic and administrative buildings, as well as the dorms for boys and girls, are located on campus.

National Law University offers admission based on merit and entrance exams. Aspiring candidates qualify the eligibility criteria set by the univeristy for the admission. The university accepts CLAT exam for admission. Interested students can apply directly through the official website. NLU Assam application window is open.

NLU Assam BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2025 has been released for round 1. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was 1643. For the PWD AI category candidates, the closing rank in the round 1 was 45940.

For admission to one-year LLM at NLU Assam, the CLAT test will be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLU Assam are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates can complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 will be declared soon along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.

• The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language,   Logical Reasoning,   Legal Reasoning,  CLAT Affairs including General Knowledge and Quantitative Techniques. 

• The CLAT LLM question paper has both objective- and subjective-type questions. However, last year, the CLAT Consortium removed the descriptive section from the LLM paper. Check complete CLAT 2024 exam pattern for LLM.

NLU Assam cutoff 2024 as per the CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment for BA LLB and LLM for the General category candidates under the Vertical Reservation is tabulated below: 

After filling out the application form for National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam admissions, candidates must appear for the CLAT exam followed by the exam's counselling process. The university evaluates the forms of candidates and grants admission to candidates based on the CLAT marks. However, the time frame of admission confirmation has not be specified by the university. 

Taking admission in the BA LLB (Hons) course at NLU Assam is considered a great option. The university is well-known and reputed for the Law programmes offered. Candidates must appear for the CLAT exam for admission in the university.
