Overall, the faculty and teaching staff members are good.
Placements: I'm still in the 2nd semester, so I don't know placement and internship details very well, but I think the faculty members provide internships at various local and other companies. Students can opt for higher studies like M.Sc, M.A, B.Ed, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and labs are in good condition. The Wi-Fi works in a few areas on campus. Classrooms are well-maintained and have projectors. The hostel rooms are pretty small. The mess food is average. The canteen prices are reasonable. The campus has a basketball ground.
Faculty: Teachers are very frank and one of the best teachers I've had. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. In our class, the student-to-teacher ratio is 2:1. Semester exams depend upon our studies and preparation. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The college week is amazing. We have food and many other stalls.

Beautiful place, big campus, and lots of opportunities.
Placements: The percentage rate is almost 70%. The highest package I can remember is 6 LPA on campus, and off campus, it's about 16 LPA. Every student can get an internship from this course if they study seriously. They can get jobs in companies like Nvidia, Google, BARC, ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus and also inside the hostels and departments. In the hostel, there are no problems except for the quality of food. But there are a lot of shops near the hostels. Medical facilities are available. There are many sports grounds in NEHU.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and also very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course has lots of opportunities itself, so if a student wants to study seriously, he/she can become industry-ready for sure. The semester exams have moderate difficulty.
Other: ECE has vast opportunities and lots of knowledge. I think in our labs, some instruments are needed for a clear understanding. Events and fests are very common things on our campus. The freedom for extracurricular activities is unparalleled.

This is one of the most boring colleges known to exist. No proper infrastructure.
Placements: There are only 30-40% placed in my house. The only package offered in my course is 8500, which is a good price for education and the course. NGOs, schools, and many companies are involved; it mostly depends on the position you're looking for. Almost 99% of students got internships in schools, hospitals, or small villages. Positions include researchers, planners, and human resources managers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the college and the hostel is in bad condition. The food is terrible and unhygienic. There are no proper facilities and no proper water supply. The water is very dirty, and we students living in the hostel get sick often because of it; when we complain, they don't do anything.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to us. The exams are not so hard; we study. It's fine so far regarding both the teachers and their teaching. Classmates are well-behaved as well. But teachers often speak in their language without caring to translate or explain to the students who do not speak their language.
Other: I had no option other than this course. They said this course was the only available course when I came for admission. I wished there were field trips or some kind of enjoyment other than being in class all the time. There are no events or festivals in college. One of the most boring colleges to exist.

It has a good central university.
Placements: About 90 percent of students get placements this year. The highest package offered ranges from 17-18 LPA. Many biomedical companies, hospitals, and government jobs are offered at this campus. All students got internships from the campus. Top companies like Medtronic, Philips, Siemens, Tech Mahindra, and Assam Biotech offer placements.
Infrastructure: It has full Wi-Fi. Classrooms have digital boards with a projector. Labs are very good. It serves good mess food. All sports facilities are available. The canteen and medical facilities are available. The hospital provides free medicine to students and teachers. Sports Authority of India (SAI) is also present on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and well-qualified IIT teachers. They are very helpful. Research faculty members are available. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester examinations are easy if students attend classes regularly. 45 percent is the pass percentage. It has a highly IIT-qualified and MBBS-qualified HOD.
Other: A variety of events and fests are organised. It has a good campus under a spine forest. All government scholarships are available, and anyone can join any extracurricular activities, which are totally free. The gym is available. An electric cycle is also available on campus.

Great crowd, fests & college week.
Placements: There were no such things as internships or placements for us, especially in the Mass Media department. The college did not help us in getting them, and we had to find opportunities by ourselves. I did not see any placement cell on campus for our department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was decent and well-maintained. The canteen was the best part, with three canteens offering affordable prices and a stationery shop inside the campus. There were girls’ and boys’ hostels within a few kilometers. We also had the NE Archive section in the Mass Media department. The campus had a library and auditorium. It had studios, cameras, and other equipment required for practical classes. However, we could not fully utilise the resources from the second year onwards due to COVID.
Faculty: Faculty was good and helpful. There were fewer practical classes than expected. They were strict regarding time, as is typical in the media field. Some professors were biased towards certain students. Our HoD was extremely kind and supportive. We had a heavy workload of assignments each semester, with at least two assignments per week in each subject. We also had theatre classes in the auditorium with many fun activities. We had practicals, internals, and viva alongside written exams each semester. The viva was taken by external invigilators and not by our teachers.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements are quite okay. Unlike other colleges in the state, various companies like Google, some BPOs, and many companies come from time to time to recruit students. This put the college at a high rank, and as a result, the college recruits only qualified students. I could quote quite a number of students who got a job before completing their courses. But I still feel that this could be better so that more students have a future through this institute.
Infrastructure: Hostels are great. It is situated near the college. There are two separate buildings for both boys and girls. Some rooms are shared, and some single rooms are also available here. Mess food is also great. It costs a total of around Rs. 8,000 per month. PGs are also available around the college, which cost around Rs. 4,000 per month.
Faculty: Faculty members are super awesome and very dedicated. Some of the teachers make us love the subject they teach. They are perfectly trained in their respective lies. They did their job really well. It is an awesome college in terms of faculty members. The principal is friendly, and so is his assistant. Faculty members sitting in offices, be it the clerks or whoever, are very helpful. All the good reviews of other students made me choose this college for MCA. The best MCA course is at the university. There is a proper schedule for exams, and a particular datasheet is followed.
