Overall best University for Master of Library and Information Science Course.

Placements: In our college, almost 85% of the students were placed in our course. The minimum salary offered was 2 LPA and the average salary offered was 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are UNESCO, WHO, The World Bank, etc. 80% of students get internship opportunities. The top roles offered are Information Architect and Archivist.

Infrastructure: There are five labs for various subjects. It is the best university and offers a separate library for departments with Wi-Fi. Students have access to the library as well. There are high-tech classrooms with cutting-edge teaching systems available. The best playgrounds are available there. It offers internships and field trips.

Faculty: Although the teaching personnel is good and knowledgeable, it is not being used to its full potential. A strong curriculum is both practically sound and useful for learning a lot about the topic. It would have been possible to conduct many of the practical classes more effectively, which would have resulted in more knowledge. Exams for the semester are simple, and 89% of students pass.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Unfortunately, placements are not available for M. Lib. ISC. But internships are provided at the end of the course: 2 months in the university library and 2 months in any college library. It's not compulsory; you can choose to do it but it is crucial that you do it as it will be very essential for future careers.

Infrastructure: The department's infrastructure is good. Proper Wi-Fi connections and well-maintained classrooms and labs are available. The library also has a very extensive collection for all courses. Hostel facilities are fine. They are also very affordable. Various courts are available on campus and you can play anytime.

Faculty: The faculty members in this course are really helpful, very updated and knowledgeable. Their teaching is also understandable. The curriculum is also quite relevant to the present workforce and really prepares students for the industry. Practical experience is also applied, which is therefore helpful. Exams are not that difficult; they are not too easy either.

Other: The campus is really great. Quiet and very close to nature. Great for evening walks and for morning runs also.

North Eastern Hill University are good.

Placements: Our university studies are very well. The placements here are also very well. Students are required to undergo an internship before placements. Students can also join as faculty in my college. The graduates of library Science courses can work as Archivists, Cataloguers, and Indexers, etc. The salary package is for this course around 2 to 6 L. pa.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is very wonderful. Our university has an internet facility for all students. There is a hockey ground for playing and time passing. It also has a wonderful garden for stories and gossip. Our university's food is very healthy.

Faculty: All our teachers and faculty members are very knowledgeable their knowledge is very vast like an ocean. If, for some reason, there is any difficulty in understanding the concept or there is any mistake then the teachers explain the chapters very easily and quickly. They prepare us for the exams.

It's the best college in our state, and I am happy with my university.

Placements: After completing an M.A. in Library and Information Science at our North-Eastern Hill University, 60% of students got placement from our department. 20% of students get internships. The highest salary package was 12 LPA. Our university also provides a Ph.D. program in Library and Information Science.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The University Library Service serves as a laboratory for students to gain practical knowledge under the guidance of faculty members and practicing librarians. So the library facility is very good. Practical rooms and classrooms are clean, but the internet speed is low. Boys and girls both have hostels available near the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, and they maintain a good relationship with students. They teach us in a very easy way, that's why we have no doubts about our subjects. Semester exams are difficult, but 90% of students pass because we get class notes and suggestions.
