Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a pen and paper based entrance examination. The duration of this test is 90 minutes. Candidates have to solve 100 MCQs within the given time period. LUMET includes questions related to Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Comprehension and General Awareness. Moreover, each question carries 2 marks. Lucknow University allotment procsess of hostels are completely merit-based and depend on demand and availability. Hostel accommodations are not applicable for students studying for proficiency/diploma and short-term courses, nor to students with back papers. Students who are residents of Lucknow or whose parents reside in Lucknow will not be considered for hostel admission. For the fresh admission, students are required to apply through the Hostel Management System portal accessible via University's website.
