It is a decent college with hardworking faculty members.
Placements: As the OSGU was established in 2019, until now, none of the batches has passed out from this university. So the percentage of placements until now cannot be considered. Prospective placements of this university in pharmacy are Sun Pharma, Cipla, Primax Healthcare, AVI Pharma and many more reputed pharma companies. Roles offered here are a drug inspector, pharmacist, health inspector, drug technician, etc.
Infrastructure: In our department, there is a classroom with an accommodation capacity of about 200 students. The library facility is also available in every department. In hostels, students have combined rooms with a Wi-Fi facility. The quality of food served in the mess is average. On the campus, there is a canteen also where students get all the necessary items.
Faculty: In this university, all the faculty members are well educated and hard-working also, but some teachers are average and do not have much experience to teach. They have knowledge but cannot describe it in front of the class. In our university, you must have 75%-80% of attendance. Semester exams are average in this university.
Other: I have chosen pharmacy because pharmacy is a well-versed professional with a combination of science, healthcare, direct patient contact, computer technology application and business management. Career in pharmacy offers us many opportunities and is a highly trusted profession. Our university must improve its labs and pay more attention to practical work with theoretical work. Our university also organises regular fests like a farewell, sports event and many more.
