Osmania University administers the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPGET) for admission into its various programs. It also accepts results from a number of national entrance exams, including the GATE, TSICET, CMAT, Andhra Pradesh ECET, and TS EAMCET, for undergraduate studies like BTech, PG and Certificate programmes. Osmania University offers postgraduate programmes in the areas of arts, commerce, science, education, law, mass communication, and more. These programmes include the MA, M.Com, M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc, MSW, M.Ed, MCJ, LLM, M.Li.Sc, M.P.Ed. Graduation is the primary requirement for admission to Osmania University's postgraduate programme. For entry into MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, or M.Li.Sc programmes, applicants must have completed their undergraduate degrees in the respective discipline with a minimum cumulative GPA of 40%. Admission to the MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, MCJ, MSW, M.Li.Sc., and LL.M. programmes is contingent on passing the university's OUCET exam.

Osmania University TS EAMCET cutoff 2025 for the BTech CSE branch ranged from 1221 to 30353 for the General AI category. As per this range, the hardest college for admission was the University College of Engineering, Osmania University, with the cutoff of 1221 in the first round and 1622 in the last round.

Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . The cutoff strictly depends upon the compition in that particular programme . Colleges have started declaring thier cutoffs for different programs on their College Website .  Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme . 

After qualifying for the exam one has to check the cutoff for a particular college and a particular course. After checking for the particular course one has to apply for counseling and after counseling one can pay the fees. For, clearing the exam the cutoff was 25 percent and to become eligible score the candidate must score a minimum of 50 marks for the general category. The SC/ST candidates are eligible at 20 marks out of 200 and they can apply for counseling after that and they can also secure their seats by paying the fees. The minimum score for OBC Category was 25.

Osmania University used to offer admission to several PG courses based on CPGET scores, followed by the counselling process. As per the CGPET cutoff 2022, the last round closing rabk for Master of Education (M.Ed.) stood at 2 for the General category All India candidates. Osmania University Cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of the final cutoff round for admission to the BE course via the TS EAMCET entrance examination. According to the most popular BTech specialisation, ie, BTech CSE, the overall cutoff ranged from 1221 to 30353 for the General AI category. Hence, a rank of 11000 might get you admitted to the above branch. 

Other branches that could also be available to you were BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering or BE in Civil Engineering, since these branches had admissions closing at ranks of 39436 and 52574, respectively.  

Note: This is the cutoff for the General AI category; other categories, rounds, courses, etc, will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

IT will all depend on the university cutoff that is released every year after the common entrance test is conducted. The qualifying stfudents will be eligible to apply for the counselling process and the merit list will be released accordingly based on the rank and the number of seats available for the particular course.
