All things are good in DAV College except for some conveniences in their bathrooms.
Placements: More than 50% of 12th-grade students get placed in DAV Chandigarh. The highest package depends on the company's joining, but generally, it ranges from a minimum of Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000 per month, with the highest being Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000 per month. Verka, Amul, and other food processing organizations. Around 5-10% of students got internships in food processing companies such as Amul, Verka, Maggi, Britannia, and many others. Roles offered include food management official, food survey official, food-making chiefs, and others related to food.
Infrastructure: All the requirements are fulfilled by the college related to Food Science and technology. The things we need to require to do experiments. Sports and games are average. There is not any big push from the authorities towards games. But the hostel and food served in it is good as well as with good hygiene canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are so good with teaching skills and explain everything clearly. The course leads students to be industry-ready. The semesters are not much difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%, but if students stay focused on their studies with a bit of enjoyment, they can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in food science, and the best thing is the knowledge and practical experiments I do myself, which help me learn more about food science. I think many students are not very aware of this course in my college, so that’s something that can be improved. The events in this college are good and are conducted by different departments with excellent performance.

Our college provides good opportunities to students.
Placements: I did B.Voc MLT from Dav College. There were almost 53 students in my class, and all are doing jobs at great positions in top organisations. I am doing job in PGIMER which is one of the top organisation of India. All you have to do is work hard and be passionate about your studies.
Infrastructure: There were good facilities in this course. We had good practical working area and good labs. Good hostel and well hygienic canteen were available for students coming from other states. PGs were also available near college if anyone need. Mess was also available for students.
Faculty: All teachers were helpful, well-experienced and well trained. They had good, knowledge about field. They were well- mannered, graceful, very polite and humble towards students. They will help you out in your studies and hel

Our college is very good for studying.
Placements: In our college, around 80% of students were placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many companies come to our college to recruit students for their companies. The top roles offered were laboratory assistant and laboratory manager roles for this course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities for our courses and departments. Students were also equipped with Wi-Fi facilities in our college. A personal laboratory in each subject was provided, and classrooms were neat and clean with air-conditioner facilities. The hostel facilities were good. Both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms were available in the hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers teach students well and support them a lot, what students do not understand, they will make them understand it again. Every semester was very difficult but if our teachers teach them well then nothing seems difficult. The pass percentage was 33% in all single subjects.

    Review of DAV College, Chandigarh.
Placements: There are 50 seats in this course, and every student got more than 60% of marks in their 12th class. The highest salary package of 12 LPA is provided by different companies for students. Nestle and some companies from Haryana and Punjab visit here. Every student has to do an internship in all 3 years as it is compulsory in this vocational course like in every department of the food industry. This course offers jobs like auditor, QC/QA, etc.
Infrastructure: There is mostly every facility like a hostel, air-conditioned classrooms, water coolers, boys' or girls' washroom, free Wi-Fi and free library membership. They provide 6 meals a day, starting from tea and coffee and then breakfast. Then they serve lunch and snacks and after that dinner and last one dessert.
Faculty: In this course, teachers are well educated but not up to a professional level like most of the teachers teach students as a responsibility and do not teach students as they need. The semester exams are not much difficult if you study daily. Passing marks will be 40% in theory and 80% in practicals.
Other: I like this course because it not only provides knowledge about theoretical but also focuses more on the practical part. So, I prefer to choose this course for my successful career as it has a high scope in the future.

I think this college is very good, and my experience here is not bad.
Placements: It is quite a good college in comparison to other colleges in Chandigarh. This college is mainly known for its commerce department. So, I don't recommend you to join this college for the B.Sc course.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best colleges in Chandigarh. It has a great campus and professors. Technical support is good, and the interaction with students is also great. The equipment for a better understanding of concepts is also good. Computer and science labs are maintained in a great way. The canteen area is good and spacious, and the hostel area is great. Options for choosing the college in Chandigarh is great. The college doesn't even have a proper ground, but they are claiming that the college has different types of sports and games. Other than this, the infrastructure and classrooms are quite impressive.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified and well-skilled, and teachers are very experienced and have good behaviour. It is the best and well-organised college, and now even a business school has also opened. Surroundings are also good, and the security system is also the best. Most of the teachers are working as guest teachers, and they don't have proper skills. The B.Sc course is the worst.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in the computer field. Teachers and students are good in behaviour, and teachers, campus, events, environment and surroundings are very good.

It is a good college due to its practical parts and different knowledge which is good for future.
Placements: More than 60% of the students easily got placements. Salary packages offered are according to the marks and course, which is ranging from 2.5-7 LPA. For our course, the top recruiting companies are Verka Milk Ltd, Mother Dairy, Amul Pvt Ltd, Vita and many others. Top roles offered are as a manager in any food factory, food inspector, jobs in FSSAI or FDA.
Infrastructure: Our college has its own high-speed Wi-Fi. Labs are also good, but a few high technology equipment is not available. Hygiene and cleanliness are average, and regular cleaning is also done. An ambulance is always available for any emergency. The canteen is very good. It also has an extra Nescafe for students for other kinds of food. Sports and games are average and not that good. In NCC, our college has special recognition. Extracurricular activities like music, dance, talent hunt, etc., are also done regularly to keep students motivated. Staff members are also polite and humble.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and most of them have high experience. Our course is not that old, so all teachers are not informative enough. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready for sure. Industry visits are also an important part of our syllabus.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course is different from other usual courses, and I think it is good for the future. The best thing about our course is that it is less theoretical and more practical. More subjects can make our course even better. Multiple events and fests related to food are conducted here, which makes it the most interesting course among all.

Yes, aspirants get to gain practical experience through internships. However, the university does not have some mandatory criteria to offer them. Aspirants can find various internships and build practical experience in Agri business and NGOs.
