PU-CET (PG) application form is likely to be out in April, 2026. PU-CET (PG) 2026 application process will start at Punjab University website. The window for filling in incomplete forms will be opened after the application window has closed. Candidates will be able to pay the application fees online on the official website of Punjab University.

PU-CET (PG) exam will be held in offline mode across four cities in Punjab. Candidates who wish to appear for PU-CET (PG) 2026 exam have to visit the website of Panjab University and fill the PU-CET 2026 application form. Candidates who do not complete their form but pay the requisite fee will be given the option to complete their form by paying a late fee of INR 500/- by a pre-announced date by the exam authorities. PU-CET (PG) application process is incomplete without submission of necessary documents. PU-CET (PG) exam authorities has provided a list of important documents students must submit to complete their application process. For 2026, requirements for documents may change. In the mean time, students can check the following list of documents is needed for filling the PU CET (PG) application form 2026:

PU-CET (PG) application submission can be done through both online and offline modes. Candidates opting for offline payment need to register online, generate bank challan and submit the application fees in any SBI branch within 48 hours. After fee submission, they can use the bank challan number to fill the rest of the details.

Candidates will have to pay an additional fee of INR 710 for each additional course. Students must note that the application fee will be non-refundable. There is a provision for a 50 per cent concession in application fees for B and C class employees (regular) of Panjab University. 

Incomplete application forms will be rejected. Keep a photocopy fee receipt for contingency.

The eligibility criteria for the PU-CET (PG) exam is different for different courses. The following is the minimum eligibility criteria for PU-CET (PG) exam:

  • Candidates must have completed a bachelor degree in the relevant field or a related discipline from a recognised university or institution. 
  • They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation, or
  • Students must have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or England or Institute of Cost Accountants of India or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of England or Institute of Company Secretaries of India, or
  • Student holds a Diploma in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare or Diploma in Marketing Management with not less than 60% aggregate
  • Executive experience of two years or above in a full-time job in a commercial or industrial establishment after having passed the qualifying examination
Q:   When will the PUCET (PG) registrations begin?

PU CET (PG) registration 2025 will likely begin in the second week of April 2025. The PU CET PG application form will be released on the official website of Punjab University. Students will be able to fill the PU CET (PG) application form online only and they will be required to pay the application fee in order to complete the PUCET (PG) application process. The application window will be open for approximately a month. Students need to submit the application form before the deadline. 

Q:   What is the PU-CET (PG) exam pattern?
A: 

PU-CET (PG) exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam has five sections and 85 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 85. 

Q:   How many questions are there in the PU-CET PG question paper?
A: 

Number of questions in the PU CET PG question paper can be different for different subjects. The questions are in the multiple choice format and each course has different number of questions. Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. 

There are four choices for each question in the PU CET (PG) exam and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
