No, students who have appeared for the PU-CET (PG) exam, and cleared the cutoff, will be required to appear for the further admission process, which includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Students who wish to appear for the PU-CET (PG) exam can register themselves online. There is no provision of applying offline. They should follow the process mentioned below to register for the exam:

• Click on Register
• Register with details such as name, phone number, email id and date of birth
• Create a login ID and password
• Pay the application fee via credit card, debit card, or internet banking
• Upload a scanned copy of the photograph and signature
• Check all the information filled and select save and confirm

PU CET (PG) registration 2025 had begun in the third week of April 2025. The PU CET PG application form was released on the official website of Punjab University. 

Number of questions in the PU CET PG question paper can be different for different subjects. The questions are in the multiple choice format and each course has different number of questions. Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. 

There are four choices for each question in the PU CET (PG) exam and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes. 

There will be a total of five sections, i.e. General Knowledge, Economics and Business Environment Awareness, Data Interpretation and Provlem Solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability/ Reasoning and English Comprehension. Each question in all these sections will carry one mark each with four choices. 

PU-CET (PG) exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam has five sections and 85 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 85.
