B.Tech. in Data Science, Economics and Business - Batch of 2026
4.4

Good infrastructure and curriculum, professors are approachable and knowledgeable, hectic schedule.
Placements: Our senior batch has still not passed, but some of them got PPOs from Aakash Institute and Airtel Bharti. Our batch, DSEB students, are in the internship phase, and 9% of students got into BCG. Others are still exploring options like Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Finance Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Jefferies Finhub lab that is for collecting data and doing advanced finance projects. We have separate computer labs with a proper Wi-Fi system. Talking about the mess, it has a capacity of 300+ students, and on the ground floor, the general food made by the mess committee is served. On the first floor, there are provisions for buying and eating whatever you want. We have a stock shop for daily commodities and Kurkure chips, etc. We have North, where all varieties of North Indian food are served, and we have Arihant, which serves pizza, coffee, a variety of beverages, fast food, and South Cafe, which is for South Indian food. We have two blocks where classes are held. One is the Bharti Block, where we have two classrooms on the ground floor that can accommodate 300+ students. The total number of classrooms is 9, and we have a Physics Lab, Biology Lab, etc. In the Havells Block, talking about games, we have basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, and table tennis, with separate coaches. We organize intra-tournaments for each sport annually, and we have our sports fest, Eklavya, which is an inter-university fest.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, and most of the professors are from IIT or have teaching experience at IIM, BITSPILANI, etc. They are very approachable; in fact, every week, we have dedicated office hours to meet them, and if you want to go another way, you can mail and book an appointment. As the number of students is less, with almost 150 students in the first and second years and around 100 in the senior-most batches, this is a plus point, as professors can easily focus on each student. The curriculum is well-structured, and yes, it does prepare students for the industry. The exams are quite difficult, and the passing percentage for any course is 32%.
Other: My interest towards Data Science led me to land up in DSEB (Data Science Economics and Business). I have an interest in doing analysis of, say, policy reforms and its impact. I wanted to work on social issues and teach, so I find it as a way to emerge both. The best thing is that less students lead professors to focus more on students, which gives you the opportunity to work closely with a professor and explore more. Another thing is that it is very exciting to work on projects with expected outputs. Events happen frequently at the campus. The crowd is less. The university is remote, so local vehicles are not available, but one can book a cab anytime, and we have a shuttle service for weekends. The scholarship is of two types: need-based and merit based and in merit based they have 4 labs based on your 12th grade and other competitive exams marks, but it keeps on changing as you perform better or the other way round.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027
4.4

Value for money. Many students have selected the Plaksha University instead of NITS.
Placements: In 4th year, 80% of students get placed, and the average is 18 LPA; one senior got 40 LPA from BCG, and one got 45 LPA from Arsisum. On our campus, companies like Flipkart, Shadi.com, Orangewood, etc., usually come. If I talk about the 3-year internship, then there are 5 students in BCG, 2 in Flipkart, 1 in Arsisum, and many get placed in different companies. The good thing is that they all have pre-placement offers. .
Infrastructure: We have advanced infrastructure; we have an AC room in the hostel, and Wi-Fi is also available. We have a big classroom with AC. We have a library with 500-person accommodation, which is completely air-conditioned. We have a football ground, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, etc. Food in mess is too good.
Faculty: We have faculty from IITS, NITS, Bits Plan, etc. We have top faculty, and the best part is the curriculum we have is completely project-based, that is, real-life-based. Semester exams are not that difficult, but if you don't study, then you may feel they are difficult. .
Other: The college also provides scholarships, both need-based and merit-based.

Fees doesn't do justice to the quality offered.
Placements: No batch has graduated yet, there are already internships with well-known companies that pay a good stipend. In fact, BCG and Arcesium have already given out PPOs with great packages. Companies are lining up to hire our graduates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this university is good. The Wi-Fi works really well in the academic blocks, and the university is designed so that everything is easily accessible. The hostel facilities are top-notch, with good sports equipment, and the infirmary is open 24/7.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, and they are eager to engage with the students. However, the academic pressure is too much. The courses are tough, and there are multiple grading assessments throughout the semester. The pass percentage is only 40%, but the courses are relevant to the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I loved the integration of finance and technology. Plus, data science with finance would have been a great combination. However, I wish the workload was less, especially since there are no social activities in the university that give you a breather.

A fantastic place to break free from siloed engineering branches and explore technology.
Placements: As of now only Tech leaders program students have been placed with a median in hand package of 20 lakhs p.a. The projected RCPS placemis along similar lines and about 90% of the batch has gotten good internships across a range of diverse startups and companies ranging from embedded systems development to quant trading.
Infrastructure: We have a dedicated makerspace and robotics lab with various necessary robotic architproducts like microcontrolers, sensors, etc. the makerspace also has 3d printers for learning additive manufacturing. The hostel is equipped with all modern amenities like heating/AC with router based WiFi connectivity with 100-200 Mbps of speed and also a multitude of sports facilities both indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: The curriculum has been designin collaboration with UC Berkeley and other institutions of eminence like perdue and IISc. The courses are tailor made for someone who to work at the intersection of AI, mechatronics and robotics. The evaluation component differs for every course there is a hard cap of 50% on exam weightage as a portion of total grade

No, BTech is a four-year undergraduate course that includes one year of industrial internship and a project in the final year. This course aims to learn and practically imply the technologies in various fields. So, this course can not be completed in three years.
