Pondicherry University - Karaikal Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

MBA/PGDM	Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
MCA	Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or Bachelor's degree in Commerce/ Corporate Secretaryship/ Economics / Business Administration with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics / Statistics with Computer Applications as one of the subjects or Bachelor's degree in Science with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
M.Sc.	Candidate who have done Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology or any other equivalent course are eligible to apply.
M.Com	Candidate completed any B.Com. degree with a minimum mentioned marks are eligible to apply.

As per Pondicherry University cutoff 2023, the closing ranks for top 5 integrated courses stood at 368.33 for Integrated M.Sc. in Physics, 343.48 for Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry, 341.05 for Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics, 309.38 for Integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science and 293.35 for Integrated M.Sc. in Statistics for General category All India candidates. Of all the specialisations,  Integrated M.Sc. in Physics can be considered as the most competitive of all because of the highest closing scores in the last two years. 

Pondicherry University - Karaikal Campus is a well-known institution for MBA/PGDM, MCA, M.Sc., M.Com courses. These programs are delivered by highly experienced faculty. • BBA and BCom are offered at the UG level. The course duration of both programmes is three years. Candidates who have done Class 12 can apply for these programmes. The final selection of students is based on the HSC scores.
• Apart from the UG programmes, the University offers three PG programmes under distance education. MCom, MA and MBA are offered with a course duration of two years. A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream to be eligible for these programmes. The final selection of students will be based on the graduation scores.
