Pondicherry Central University accepts CUET PG scores for admission to a list of postgraduate courses. Pondicherry University has released the CUET PG merit list for several postgraduate courses. Pondicherry University's Integrated BA + MA in History is spread over ten semesters. At the end of the course duration, students must have secured a minimum of 192 credits for the award of the degree. For passing each hard core course, students get 4 credits, and for passing each soft core course, 3 credits. Moreover, students are free to choose any course offered by other departments as a soft core during a particular semester.

Pondicherry University offers a five-year Integrated MA programme across four specialisations, namely History, Political Science, Sociology and Social & Economic Administration and Law (SEAL). • BBA and BCom are offered at the UG level. The course duration of both programmes is three years. Candidates who have done Class 12 can apply for these programmes. The final selection of students is based on the HSC scores.
• Apart from the UG programmes, the University offers three PG programmes under distance education. MCom, MA and MBA are offered with a course duration of two years. A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream to be eligible for these programmes. The final selection of students will be based on the graduation scores.

Admission to a majority of postgraduate and integrated postgraduate level courses at Pondicherry University is subject to CUET UG and CUET PG exams.
