I like the faculty's behavior and campus placements.
Placements: Major travel companies like MakeMyTrip, EaseMyTrip, PickYourTrail, Ebix, and others visit our department for campus recruitment. The recruitment drive usually consists of a written test and an interview. Almost 100% of students get placed every year. Our department has a dedicated placement committee for training and preparing students for the recruitment drive.
Infrastructure: At Pondicherry University, all students are allotted hostel facilities, so there’s no need for rented accommodations. If you need additional accommodation, it is also available opposite the university at an affordable price. The hostel fees for a year amount to around 20,000 INR.
Faculty: Currently, there are five permanent faculty members and four guest faculty members. All permanent faculty members are aged between 40-50, while guest faculty members are aged between 25-35. All of them hold postgraduate degrees. In the hierarchy, the Dean of the School of Management comes first, followed by the Head of the Department, then permanent faculty, and finally guest faculty. All permanent faculty members are resourceful individuals with wide knowledge of the concepts and can effectively teach the material to students. Guest faculty members are in training; they are knowledgeable but need to develop more effective teaching strategies.

Great atmosphere for learning and just visiting, you can lit sit anywhere and study,
Placements: The placements are quite great . Those who opt for placement gets them. The highest offer was 63 LPA from M.Qror branch and average was more than 18 lakhs per annum. The companies which visited were BlackRock , Optiver , Microsoft, Google , Nomura bank etc. After completion of my degree I will pursue PhD which is the most followed path here .
Infrastructure: We have a cultural event every other year, academic event the rest of the year, inter batch events, intercollege events, teachers day, faculty night where faculties perform, food festivals, Christianity workshop festivals and so many more depends upon the dates. We also conduct many workshops from different departments now and then, cme meetings are held every Tuesday mostly and are very social. A lot of people do icmr in our college and almost 100 proposals go in every year only from our college. We have a student council and they do all the management work during events. We have sports practice all day evening after 4.30 pm like hockey football, basketball, volleyball, throwball, cricket etc. We also go to other college events for literature and debate, theatre events like movie spoof channel surfing, adzap and quizzes too.
Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is quite good 1 :10, which enhances the teacher student interaction a lot. The faculty I liked is professor Gopal Krishna Basak who is the dean of studies. His humbleness and down to earth nature makes him different from other professors. There are mainly 2 exams mid semester and end semester as mandatory having at least 80% to your grade and other 20% is either taken through quizzes or assignments.

Faculty members are very supportive and helpful for the students.
Placements: From 3rd semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many big companies such as Deloitte, Amul, Reliance, Asian Paints, ICICI, etc., come for the recruitment process. Almost 70% of students got placed in such highly reputed companies. The average package goes around 6 LPA, and the highest around 12 LPA - 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: Campus life focuses on social aspects, club involvement, and infrastructure provided by the university. It was best compared with other universities. Now the infrastructure is developing rapidly inside the university, providing better facilities for the students to build and focus on their careers.
Faculty: Faculty members and directors were very supportive and helpful at this college. They helped in getting future opportunities more easily. The exam systems were per semester wise were 4 times in 2 years. Strict rules were followed for the same, and their marking scheme was highly appreciated.

Faculty is very good and responsible.
Placements: Placement is good if students try for placement; they will easily get placed. Many companies visit the college every year for placements, including TCS, Accenture, SBI Card, and Colleberation. In the third year, you are eligible for placement. The average package is around 2 Lacs per annum and the highest is 5 Lacs. About 40% of students get placed, and many students plan for higher studies after graduation.
Infrastructure: Nice college, but the place it is situated in is not ideal, as it is too small to do anything and there is no place to sit silently and relax. Everything must be done in a crowd wherever you go; the place is not well developed. Hostel rooms are good, with two persons in each room. They come with beds, a study table, two cupboards, a chair, and a study light. There is no AC facility, but the rooms are still good to live in.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is approximately 50:1, and the relationship is good. Some teachers' behavior is very positive; my favorite teacher is Dr. Permeshver. The college organizes only one yearly exam, along with internal and practical exams.

Pondicherry University is a vibe.
Placements: For now about 70% of the students were placed for now and others can be also placed. But the package is only for everyone but maybe that is because of the tourism field. Get holidays, Pickyourtrail and Thomas Cook are the big companies came for recruitment.
Infrastructure: It is totally a vibe. Very cool campus with big roads and green trees and plants all around the campus. The campus is very big and even bigger than PTU (the college located next to PU). The campus life will be totally amazing for all kind of mentality people.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and the style of their teaching will help every student to be free and open up because of the seminars, presentation and other sessions. The faculty members SEE each student as an individual and SEE them as they are. They don't treat students like kids.

Vast, green campus makes you feel alive and makes your time worth living at Pondicherry University.
Placements: In MBA-TTM course, around 50 percent of students got placed for 2018-20 batch. The highest package was 3.43 Lacs and the average was 2.7 Lacs. The lowest package was 1.8 Lacs. The top recruiting companies were EaseMyTrip, PickYourTrail, MakeMyTrip, etc. All of the students got internship in various companies all over India and the top role offered was management trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good with well-equipped labs and library, Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. However the speed of Wi-Fi facility is questionable. The hostel facilities are quite good with proper cleaning and ample places for recreation. There is canteen which is open until 2bam at night. There are 3 big grounds and lot of areas for sports and games played of every variety.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and educated but the curriculum always failed to meet the standards of real world in terms of relevancy. It doesn't prepare a student to be ready for facing the industry. The teaching quality varied from teacher to teacher but emphasis on case study would have made it more useful and course connected.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do it over other courses. The best things about my course are the tours (eco tour (7 days) and national tour (15 days). More real world centric teaching would definitely help improve or better our course. Being a diverse university, we have a lots of events and functions happening throughout the years. The liveliness, the weather and location cannot be replicated elsewhere.

This college is a good option for MBA tourism.
Placements: Department works well to make every student placed. Thankfully our batch and our senior batch got 100% placement with an average package of 2.5 lacs per annum. Tourism giants like Thomas Cook, SOTC, FCM, Club Mahindra, Carlson Wagonlit, etc., recruited our students.
Infrastructure: As it is a central government institution, infrastructure was good. Classrooms were air-conditioned. We do have a separate departmental lab with an internet connection. Tourism lab, Wi-Fi, canteen etc., were available at the department.
Faculty: Good faculty members who are specialised in the tourism, hospitality management and airline industry are available in this college. The faculty members are very student-friendly and active. Active participation is encouraged in co-curricular activities such as events, tours, celebrations etc.
Other: Akanksha, world tourism day celebrations, festival celebrations, eco tour, national tour etc., are organised in the college.

No, I think that won't be enough. First of all, it totally depends on the cut-off set by the institution. Although you have scored well then also it will depend on the performance of others.
