Punjabi University is a state public university located in Patiala, Punjab. It was established in 1962 and is the second university in the world to be named after a language. Punjabi University has over 70 teaching and research departments under its umbrella. The disciplines offered are Arts, Humanities & Sciences. The university has more than 270 affiliated colleges, 9 campuses, 12 constituent colleges, and 6 regional colleges. Hostel fees for Engineering Hostels (I. e. Band Singh Bahadur, Mai Bhago Hostel & Bebe Nanki) is INR 920 per month whereas for other Hostels it is INR 420 per month. There are six residential Hostels for boys and seven residential Hostels for girls. The Hostels have all modern amenities for comfortable living for 4000 students. The hostels are given on a merit basis only. The students of low-income groups can be given free accommodation in the University Hostels. Residents of a hostel, where a cooperative mess is being run shall have to pay INR 5000 in advance as a mess bill. This amount is refundable/adjustable as and when the student leaves the hostel or the mess is closed permanently.

Yes according to the data available from the college website and by talking the students who are studying in this college I have found that School of Management Studies Punjabi University is a decent college as it provide a better placement for MBA students according to the data of 2020 it provides 88% students placed from the companies where a the highest package was offered was about 12 Lacs which is a decent this college has a first year fees of 90000 for MBA also this college as a very best faculty all are came from IIM and have cleared PhD they all teach very wisely and all of them are very helpful in nature also the college campus is very beautiful all around there is greenery which makes us feel very great overall I must said that this college is a decent in terms of MBA and if you are living near to this college or even in Punjab then hi highly recommend to do your Masters or MBA from Punjabi University thanks
