RTU Admission Process 2025
Rajasthan Technical University has ten departments/centres that offer UG, PG and PhD courses in a wide range of specialisations. The University has 92 colleges affiliated with it, that offer Engineering, Architecture, Management and Computer Science courses at UG and PG levels. The courses offered at University’s campus are BTech, lateral entry BTech, MTech, MBA and PhD. RTU Kota course admission takes place through a centralized admission process. RTU admission to the BTech programme is carried out through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Admission in MTech and MBA are taken through Centralized Admission for MTech/ MArch (CAM) and Rajasthan Management Admission Process (RMAP), respectively, and in the doctorate programme through RTU DAT (Doctoral Admission Test).

RTU Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection Criteria
RTU offers courses in the fields of Engineering, Business & Management Studies, Science etc. Students seeking admission must meet the course-specific eligibility and selection conditions. RTU Admission Process 2025
Rajasthan Technical University has ten departments/centres that offer UG, PG and PhD courses in a wide range of specialisations. The admission process is different as per course requirements. As of now, the admission process for BTech is through REAP counselling, for MBA it is through CMAT. However, students can check the admission process for MArch and MTech from the points mentioned below:
Admission Process-The admission process is divided into the following stages:
Stage I: Online registration and fee payment,
Stage II: Filling out the application form,
Stage III: Seat allotment,
Stage IV: Physical reporting and admission in the allotted institutes.
Stage One: Online registration and fee payment
A candidate is required to register online on CAM (Centralised Admission for MArch/MTech admission) website. Pay the application form fees of CAM, which is INR 3000 (INR 1500/
for SC/ST category) this includes 18 % GST. Fees can be submitted online through any online payment gateway details. A candidate is required to pay any other admissible charges as per the requirement of online payment, as applicable. A transaction ID will be generated after the payment.
Stage Two: Filling out the application form
In order to activate the online application form by entering the required details, the candidate must enter the transaction ID in the appropriate column of the application form. Then the
candidate will be allowed to fill out the application form with their personal and academic details as per the requirements.
Stage Three: Online choice filling
All the valid registered candidates are required to exercise their choices of programs and institutes in order of their preference for these programs / Institutes.
Stage Four: Seat allotment
As per the tentative schedule, the choices submitted by the candidates will be processed centrally and seats will be allotted in the order of merit (as per the rules of merit) on the basis of the locked choices. The allotment of institute and specialization to the candidate will be carried out through the computer software by strictly following the order of merit, seats available, reservation rules and the order of options filled by the candidate.
Stage Five: Physical reporting & admission
A candidate, who has been allotted a seat shall required to report at the allotted institute as per the tentative schedule. A provisional seat allotment letter may be printed from the CAM-website using the login details.

Rajasthan Technical University offers MTech courses at the PG level.
