Q: What are the modes of filling up RTU application form?

There is only one mode of filling RTU application form, i.e. online mode. The application process for all the courses offered at the university campus is in online mode only. Candidates have to register online at the respective RTU web portals, by mode of Net banking/ ATM card/ Debit Card/ Credit Card, etc. After successful submission of application forms, candidates will be redirected to the college choice form for entering the required choices of institutes and branches. Candidates can Save or Lock their choices. Once Locked, no further modifications can be made to the choices. In the case of management quota seats, candidates have to send a demand draft of INR 250 payable in favor of Convenor REAP to the respective institute where candidates seek admission.

It is the best college in Jaipur for B.Tech. I suggest students do not miss it.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing a B.Tech in artificial intelligence and data science at Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre. The college provides a decent academic environment. Around 60-80 percent of students get placed. The package offered ranges from 3-6 LPA. The top performers can secure high offers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the AI and Data Science department at Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre is decent and meets basic academic needs. Classrooms are well-maintained with projectors and proper seating. Labs are equipped with the necessary systems for programming, data analysis, and core subjects. Some systems are not always high-end.

Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified and helpful. The quality of teaching varies across subjects. The AI and data science course curriculum is relevant, but we should do self-learning to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is high (around 85-90 percent).

Good college, but not the best, with not many opportunities in Rajasthan.

Placements: 80% students are placed. In recent years, the institute has achieved over 2,000 placement offers during placement drives. Phase-1 of placements in 2025-26 saw 1,030+ offers made by more than 80 companies. The highest packages reported have been between 33 LPA and 44 LPA in recent cycles. The average package generally falls around 6 LPA to 6.8 LPA (some reports show slightly higher depending on batch and calculation). A large number of students secure offers above 7 LPA in strong placement years.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, average faculty, limited practical exposure. Decent campus life, but faculty support needs improvement. Strong infrastructure, mixed teaching quality, average placements. Good facilities and events, academics could be better. Average academics with good extracurricular opportunities. Nice campus and festivals, but the learning experience is moderate.

Faculty: Many students say teachers are helpful, qualified, and supportive, and they explain concepts clearly. Some reviews describe faculty as well-trained with good experience, giving practical insights beyond just theory. Some mention inclusion of coding, projects, practical labs, and industry exposure that make learning useful few reviews mention that the curriculum alone isn’t enough to be Industry-ready. Other: Modern classrooms with ICT/ smart boards and comfortable seating are available. Wi-Fi is available on campus, especially in library areas. Placements: There are about 5000 students studying in this institution, and 20% of students are placed in my course, B.Tech AIML (CSE). The lowest package is 6 LPA, and the highest package is 15 to 20 LPA. Companies include Infosys, TCS, TISA, Wipro, etc. 100% of students got internships in TISA and more companies, with top roles including AI Researcher, ML Engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a three-floor library, is in very good condition with AC. Hostel facilities, including food quality and a canteen, provide quality food to the students. They have sports facilities that occur in summer, where the winners get rewards. Medical facilities are also available in the institution.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified from reputed universities, and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are sometimes moderate and sometimes hard, and the minimum percentage for passing is 35 marks in each subject of the semester.

Other: I chose this course because I want to make India rank number 1 in the technology field. The best thing about my course is that it is very beneficial and important for the future, and I also have an interest in making projects like Roots. Events are based on cultural and spiritual essence, and scholarships are also available for boys and girls, such as the National Scholarship Portal. Academics are also very good. Recently, an event occurred in which the Indian Vice-President was invited to the inauguration.

Our college contains all the facilities and is on a very small campus.

Placements: Many students were placed in different packages where different companies came to hire people, like Infosys, Cognisance, Tata Consultancy Services, and many more. They gave different kinds of packages to students, like 3 LPA, 6 LPA, 9 LPA and so on.

Infrastructure: The sports facilities are decent. We have one indoor badminton court and one outdoor badminton court as well. We have two table tennis tables and 1 basketball court, a football ground, and a cricket ground, which can be used to play several games like kabaddi.

Faculty: This course makes the students industry-ready. Because after every second semester, we have to do an internship, which teaches us several things, like we had an internship that taught us HTML, JavaScript, front-end development and backend.

Placements: Our course is B.Tech in the artificial intelligence branch. Our batch consists of sixty students, where we have around eleven subjects, including 5 to 6 theory subjects and 5 to 6 lab subjects. Some theory subjects are easy, while others are hard.

Infrastructure: Our hostel consists of 460 rooms, where each room has a single bed. There are eight rooms on one floor. The hostel is six floors high, and each floor contains ten washrooms and five bathrooms. We have four wardens who take care of the boys in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and the course is also relevant to students. The pass percentage is around thirty-five percent, and the difficulty level is moderate. Around 10% of people are unable to pass the exam. The rest all pass easily. All we need to do is study.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placement last year, happy to have good colleagues.

Placements: 40-50 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 7 LPA, the lowest is about 1 LPA-3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Placement scenario in the college has recently increased as the number of students of electrical engineering has increased, and more for core branches.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Labs are mid, and classrooms are average. There is no boys' hostel. I can't say anything about the hostel facility. The library section is very well organised and students have a peaceful environment in that. The labs are to be improved due to the equipment shortage.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they give guidance on any topic or field. Faculty are more cooperative, and that's the thing I admire about them. They have cooperated as they help to choose the right path and the right method to study for good learning and explain the standard language easily for students.

Other: I chose this course because of the good campus view which is near the highway area. I think the practical-based learning and sports facilities should be improved. Scholarships have to be increased as many students suffer from financial expenses.
