RGPV Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Selection Process & Dates

RGPV admission to most of the courses is primarily entrance-based. However, the university does offer a few courses, admission to which is completely merit-based. Hence, candidates can certainly get admission to RGPV courses without an entrance exam, given that they are seeking admissions to programmes with the merit-based selection.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. The fee of the RGPV BTech CS course ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 5.30 lakh through out its affilited colleges. The RGPV offers three to five-year BTech courses to students across Computer Science and Engineering, AI and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, and other streams. To get admission to BTech, the candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate and must qualify for JEE Mains and DTE MP Counselling. 

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems was 114463 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.

RGPV cutoff for the BTech CER course is based on JEE Main ranks followed by the JEE Main Counselling. As per the RGPV cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE stood closed at 122582 for the General All India category students.

RGPV BPharma admission dates to fill out the application form have not been announced by the University yet for the academic year 2024. The application process will begin soon. 

RGPV BPharma course admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the programme must follow certain process. Given below is the step-wise RGPV BPharma admission process 2024:

Step 1: RGPV BPharma Application Process 2024 

Visit to the official website for counselling, select BPharma and register. Then, verify the email id or mobile number by entering the OTP. Candidates must then login using their email-id and password and fill out the application form by entering the required details, upload all the necessary documents and pay the RGPV BPharma application fee 2024 of INR 1,500 for General category candidates and INR 750 for reserved category candidates.

Step 2: RGPV BPharma Counselling and Seat Allotment

Shortlisted candidates must appear for DTE MP Counselling process and must pay RGPV BPharma admission fees which ranges from INR 1.6 Lacs to INR 4.2 Lacs (for the entire duration of the programme).

Candidates seeking admission to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya courses must visit the official website of the university to apply online. RGPV admission cycle generally begins in the month of July/ August for the undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma and PhD courses. Admission to BTech course at RGPV is entirely entrance-based. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main entrance exam are required to apply for DTE MP Counselling process by visiting the official website of DTE MP. Find below the step-wise application process to apply for RGPV BTech degree:

1. Visit the official website of counselling.
2. Select a course and register yourself.
3. Verify your email id or mobile number by entering the OTP received at your email id or mobile number.
4. Login using your email id and password.
5. Fill out the application form by entering the required details.
6. Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned copy of the qualifying exam marksheet.
7.  Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.

Note: Candidates can also pay the application fee offline via Demand Draft (DD).

NTA has not announce the JEE Main 2024 form fill up date. However, it is expected that the application forms will be released in December. The tentative JEE Main 2024 application form date session 1 is December first week. JEE Main application form 2024 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024. Interested candidates will be able to apply from the official website. JEE Main 2024 registration last date will be last week of December or January first week. As the exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release separate application forms for both the sessions.

Yes, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya indeed offers various scholarships to students under different categories. The university provides both Central government and State government scholarship schemes to financially weaker and meritorious students. Some of the scholarships are as follows:

• Students who come from the SC/ ST/ OBC quota are eligible to get a scholarship if they secure a 75% in their Class 12
• Students from minority communities are eligible to avail of a scholarship if they secure a 75% in their Class 12
• Students from an economically low background are eligible for a scholarship from the university
• Students whose parent serves/ has served in the military are also eligible for a scholarship
• The University sponsors a scholarship under the Sports quota and also students who fall under the category of physically handicapped

RGPV cutoff for the BArch course is offered through MPPET. Also, the university offers the course through affiliated colleges including Madhav Institute of Technology and Science and IPS Academy. Going as per the past year trend, RGPV cutoff 2021 for BArch also stood at 7 as the closing rank, whereas for 2022, the cutoff isn't available.
