Admission to BTech at RGPV is completely entrance-based. Direct admission is not possible for BTech course at the university. Application Process: Candidates applying for admission to courses offered at constituent colleges of RGPV are required to apply via DTE MP counselling process after qualifying for the respective entrance exams. Whereas, for admission to affiliated colleges of RGPV, candidates must apply on the official website concerned colleges.
Selection Rounds: Candidates seeking admission to courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, BPharm, etc., must qualify for the respective national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, etc. These courses are taught via the university's constituent colleges. Whereas for admission to courses such as B.Ed, BSc, BCA, etc., admission is completely based on the merit scores of candidates obtained in previous qualifying exams. These courses are taught at the affiliated colleges of RGPV.

Good infrastructure and faculty. Average package in 2026.

Placements: Approximately 40–50% of students get placed. The average package is low compared to other colleges, at around 4.5–6 LPA. The highest package is 12 LPA from Bridgestone. The lowest is 3.5 LPA, offered by mass recruiters. Top companies are Havells, Adani, JSW Steel, Shakti Pumps, Bridgestone, and LTIMindtree. The top roles offered are Business Analyst, Research Analyst, Operations Trainee, and Supply Chain/Quality Control roles. Around 30–40% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Some of the infrastructure and equipment are old, but the classrooms are good. All sports facilities are available. The quality of food is also good. An open mess for all students is also available, along with all the other necessary facilities. Hostels are also above average. Some hostel infrastructure is old, but otherwise everything is fine.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide us very well. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They understand students and teach accordingly. The curriculum is also relevant. They have added AI to it. It makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is more than 90%. Faculty members are very experienced.

Average private college. It is not so good, not so bad.

Placements: Placements are average. They are not very high. Only a few people get hired, mostly those with a high CGPA. Many students get jobs by applying off-campus, and the college adds their names to its board. Roughly less than 10% of people get a job on campus, and the rest are on their own. The top recruitment companies are mostly TCS, Capgemini, etc. The highest package is 72 LPA, which was achieved by someone at Amazon after applying off-campus. Internships are done by roughly 30% of students. The average package is about 4–5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: I'm giving the infrastructure 3 out of 5 because the classrooms are not really good. There are dusty and broken benches and desks, which is gross for us. Drinking water is good and hygienic. The toilets are cleaned every day, 2–3 times, which is really good for me. Hostels are average, not really good. The mess is good, but the food is not really good, just average quality. Sports and games are played on campus. There is a coach who guides us to play and helps us prepare for tournaments.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, but not very good. They can't really explain every concept well. Most faculty members are young with very little experience. There is a TG (Tutor Guardian) who helps with students' problems, which I find really good. The course curriculum is relevant. Faculty members teach topics related to the curriculum, which is good. Students can't be industry-ready until they work in an industry for about a year, so that's the case. Semester exams are 7/10 tough. We can easily score more than the passing score if we study properly for 2 days.

Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in hardware. I find it really fascinating. I think colleges should invest in tools that are relevant to the modern world because most of the things are old. Events and fests are pretty average. Last time, they called a lady singer for the fest. Scholarships are based on caste. I'm not eligible because I'm in the general category.

Infrastructure is good and we have a lush green campus.

Placements: Most of the roles were in the IT sector and Automobile sector, which includes companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many more. Approximately 70 percent of students got placed. The average package is 6 LPA. The placement criteria are mostly 7 CGPA and a good reputation in college.

Infrastructure: Hostels are very poor. Hostels are available only for first-year students from second year, most students don't get a hostel and the amenities of hostels and food are poor. The hostel mess is very poor but related to ROI, it's way better as the hostel fee is Rs. 5,000 per year.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. Exams are very easy and predictable, but checking is very tough for some subjects but subjects are interesting, and they have proper practical knowledge. Professors are very intellectual, for real.

College is overall good and has value for money.

Placements: This year, more than 200 students got placed. The highest salary package in my course is maybe 42 LPA. TCS, Infosys, and AON are the top recruiters. Almost 90% of students get internships from my college in many companies. Actually, it's my first year in this college, and I came to know these from student coordinators.

Infrastructure: Our classroom has digital boards, and water cooler. There is also lift facility for students and staff members.

Faculty: Faculty members are so good. They all are helpful in every situation and every problem related to studies. Even if you are facing any personal problem they will help you in that also. Teachers are very helpful in studies they have very good subject knowledge. Their teaching techniques are very good. The course curriculum is relvant and makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are not difficult because our teachers are so good. The pass percentage is 92%.

Other: I just wanted to do something different so I chose this course. The college should improve its network.

Placements: More than 70 percent of students got placed on campus. The lowest package was 5 to 6 LPA. The highest was 55-60 LPA. KPIT, TCS, Capgemini, & more than 65 other companies were there. Students got internships based on their skills. The college had a wide range of courses with a good placement rate.

Infrastructure: The college had everything needed. It included a good atmosphere, good classrooms, labs, a library, and a canteen. Everything needed for a career and knowledge.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty were very helpful. The teaching quality was good. They did not just teach bookish knowledge but also provided practical knowledge. There was also a Training and Placement Cell, which was the main focus of the college. It provided training to students for placements. Faculty was very friendly. They treated students like their own and focused on everything, not just studies.

I'm not satisfied with this college but at my JEE rank, this is the best that I can get.

Placements: The placement percentage is good but the offer that they get is not up to the mark, as many students are getting offers of very low packages like 3 LPA, 4 LPA, and even though it is in tier-one cities, apparently it's just your hard work that will pay.

Infrastructure: The facilities are decent not enough, but all basic facilities are provided, like playgrounds, labs, clubs, and a large auditorium. Classrooms are also very good so it is worth taking admission not a waste of money, as it is the best private college in Central India.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They reach class on time and give full time in class. They cover the full syllabus but they are not that up-to-date or qualified and do not have practical skills, so they lag there sometimes and their management capability is also not that good.

Other: The big events are less likely to happen but various small events are happening by the time.
