M.Sc. in Medical Physics in Sambalpur University.
Placements: The university facilitates M.Sc. in medical physics. You can get a placement in an RSO in any cancer hospitals. You can also get 1 year of internship after completion of course along with the stipend up to Rs. 16,000. Other placements include Research in medical instrumentation, so best of luck.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. We have practicals in Burla hospital in radiotherapy. It is a newly opened course, so it is very good. You need to be well-dedicated. There are air-conditioned classrooms. The teaching faculty members are from the university as well as the medical universities. The students will get hostel after their application for admission and hostel is very good with all amenities present. There are very good sanitation facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good, supportive, and dedicated to their work. They are good. All are UGC qualified. They mostly use PPT and projector to teach, so that students will face no problem for studying. The laboratory is good. The course fee is Rs. 30,468 per semester.
Other: The Wi-Fi facility is available. The campus has a very studious environment. The crowd is very less. It has a peaceful environment, and it is well-maintained.

Medical physics is a better option in this college.
Placements: We are the first batch of M.Sc medical physics. There are expecting placements from different hospitals. Our HOD is very cooperative, and his wide network in this field must be an advantage for us, or else a medical physics student can prepare for RSO (radiological safety officer) exam by BARC.
Infrastructure: It's a course under the school of physics Sambalpur University. It doesn't have its own separate department. Library, class, office and everything is in the department of physics. As we are in the first semester, we did our all practicals in the physics labs, but next semesters include medical diagnosis practicals, so we suppose to go to the VIMSAR in Burla for those.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are guest. Some of the physics lectures are taking a class of the papers that are related to physics. Every faculty member is giving their much attention towards the student's concept building, and of course, as it is a practically orientated course. The practicals were done by giving us the actual practice of handling, operating, and maintaining.
Other: A new course and of course a new field is there on the campus. The motive of the course is to produce medical physicist designed. If you want to be focused on the field after joining here, then its going to be fun for you and could be a good option for you after your graduation.
