Good college and infrastructure, quite busy.
Placements: More than 90 percent of the students are placed here from Sathyabama, which is a major plus point on my side. The maximum package last year was 42 LPA, I guess so they provide even placement training on campus for an extra Rs. 30,000 for 2 years and it's quite good also, the skills are good.
Infrastructure: The college has advanced classrooms only for Computer Science courses others get a normal classroom. They get Wi-Fi on campus but not mobile data inside the classroom. CSE and specialisation even get individual computers and air-conditioned classrooms.
Faculty: The exams and semesters are pretty challenging. If you are an average student, the faculty only teaches the lessons and goes, but we want to study using online notes and no books are provided in college. They are uploaded in LMS. 50 percent is the pass percentage which is quite a lot.
Other: It is too crowded in every place.

Good course with decent infrastructure and career opportunities.
Placements: Placement opportunities for CSE students are reasonably good. Several IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. Students can get opportunities in software development, testing, data-related roles, and other technology roles. The placement service depends on the individual.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure for CSE students. It includes computer laboratories, classrooms, library facilities, Wi-Fi, and other academic facilities. The campus provides sports and extracurricular activities, as well as hostel facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally qualified and supportive. Students can approach them for proper guidance. The CSE curriculum covers important Computer Science fundamentals, programming, and technical subjects, which provide a good foundation.

In our college, I get a better future because of the college faculty and good placements.
Placements: In our college, they provide good instruction and good opportunities for us to get placed in companies. Overall, the placement is good. In our college, I improve my skills with the help of our teachers, who help us a lot to improve our skills and grades. Now, our college packages are good compared to the outside market.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good classrooms and labs to learn skills. According to me, I feel supported by all the staff. Our college food is good, and all types of facilities needed by students are provided by our college team. They give good motivation to play games and participate in college sports.
Faculty: Through the teaching, I improve my scores. They also give good support to improve skills. The semesters are hard, but through the teaching, I improve a lot. This is the best way for average students to improve their skills. Through the faculty's teaching, I and others get better marks in the semesters.
Other: In our college, they offer good scholarships to talented students for their future studies. They also help students with disabilities to grow. We conduct events for future growth.

I like my college very much. I am completing my course in the 2022–2026 batch, and it is helpful.
Placements: The placement is absolutely nice. My friends got jobs from good tech companies. I chose higher studies. I couldn't attend the placement, but my friends are now in good positions. They always talk about the placements and how they got nice jobs in tech companies. Now they have started earning.
Infrastructure: The food in the hostel is very high quality compared to other colleges. They provide non-veg food every day with different varieties, and the hostel rooms are good. The cleaning is also done daily.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified to teach us. Each subject-related teacher had their own lab too, so students could also gain practical knowledge. The exams were tough, but teachers helped us learn more and clear the exams well. Faculty members are so amazing at teaching and also very friendly.

SIST Chennai is a very special university.
Placements: In the last few years, what I have seen is that placements at SIST Chennai have been up manyfold. Top IT names and with the highest package clocking over 50 LPA, SIST Chennai is now a proven entity among South Indian Universities. Average package of ECE is around 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels aren't that good, but overall infrastructure, needless to say, is so well planned. There are UK University-style buildings and a knowledge park, which has the university's largest cafeteria along with a library, a place to watch out for. Labs and classrooms are as modern as those in the universities in the US.
Faculty: Our faculty is skilled and highly knowledgeable. When both these qualities are present, one can expect no shortage in quality academics. They are very strict but at the same time, they are very helpful as well. Hardly any of my faculty members have thrown tantrums or shown attitude while teaching.
Other: SIST Chennai has this one little drawback, and that is the language challenge. There are many outsiders, but still Tamil is the most common language spoken on campus.
