Excellent placement opportunities and good infrastructure.

Placements: A minimum of 70% of students were placed in the core company in my course. Software companies like Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, and Capgemini are also hiring graduates of my course. So there are more opportunities for us to get placed. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: In my department, there are labs like the concrete technology lab, environment lab, CAD lab, soil mechanics lab, structural engineering lab, and highway engineering lab with good infrastructure. The food offered in the college mess is tasty and hygienic. There is a scheduled menu for every day with many varieties.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and behave in a friendly manner. They help us to improve our skills. My course is relevant to the curriculum and it makes the student industry ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams here is medium. The pass percentage in my course is 80%.

Other: The student development cell is here, which consists of 40+ clubs that help find the various skills in the students. I'm also the president of a club (the Design Club). We are organizing events for the students that help showcase their talents.

Review of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed from a civil engineering course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Casagrand was the top recruiting company for our course. Role offered in our course was as a site engineer. The highest salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA. A student scored 97% in academics and was recruited by L&T company.

Infrastructure: We had good lab facilities with all testing equipment. There was a modern library with Wi-Fi facility. Our college had good environmental classrooms. We had a good mess facility which served vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Biryani was served on every Thursday. The canteen on our campus was also good with all chat items. Medical facility, along with the dental hospital was available. Management provided special care to students who participated in sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good when compared to civil departments in other colleges. The course curriculum was completely relevant, and it makes students get ready for the industry.

Other: I opted for this course because I got civil in my counselling. The college should provide more industrial visit for our course for betterment. Events and extracurricular activities held were extremely good. Scholarships were also provided by the college.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is good.

Placements: No company had visited our college for recruiting the students of the civil engineering department. Teaching is good for civil engineering, but placements were very less when compared to other departments.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. Labs were good. The library was very good and useful for students who want to study.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good here. Staff members were experienced and knowledgeable. They can teach in different types for the students to understand well.

Other: Our college organises many events. The campus crowd was more during cultural events.

The college has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements for my branch were very few, but it was good for software branches. Students of our batch got more placements than our seniors. There is a placement cell in the college, and 3 to 4 hours of placement training is provided every week from 3rd year.

Infrastructure: For every department in the college, there are separate labs, buildings and classrooms. Medical facilities are very good in Sathyabama University and are free. The fee charged was very low. The central library is huge and enabled with Wi-Fi facility. There is a national basketball team of Sathyabama University. The university provides very good sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were very helpful, and they all were M.Tech qualified with a minimum of 5 to 25 years of experience. The faculty to student ratio was 1:35. The college organises an industrial visit for students every 4 months. They follow practical teaching methods.

Other: The college organises a cultural fest, a tech summit and a fem fest every year only for girls. The campus is located far from the city. The greenery on the campus is less. Buses are available in large numbers.

A review of Sathyabama Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement opportunities provided in our college are minimal, and the placement cell is not that active. Companies hire a maximum number of students for supporting roles only. Very few students are hired for core jobs. My field being civil, the job opportunities were very less. The placement coordinator was partial towards us.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. Classrooms are well-furnished, and the labs are well-equipped with all the required equipment and Wi-Fi facilities. The library has a good collection of books, and hostel facilities were good. Food served to the students was of good quality.

Faculty: Faculty members were not of big support to us. They were rude most of the times. They did not help us to gain more insight into the subject. There were very few good faculty members in our department. The curriculum was well-structured with a lot of assignments that made us understand the subject well.

Good placements, Average teaching, Stress less atmosphere.

Placements: Placements are good in IT companies. Regardless of your stream u will be given training for placements in IT companies. Internship was not part of curriculum Whereas core companies does not come for placements training is given for all streams to get recruited in IT companies But training to equip the students in core companies was not helpful.

Infrastructure: Library facilities are state of art Labs are equipped but lack modern instruments Basketball players are very much appreciated and good facilities are there for sports Classrooms are well ventilated Food is excellent for Non vegetarians Vegetarian food is bit decent.

Faculty: Every department will have some talented faculty they will much helpful Practical exposure is very less Curriculum is great but teaching is bit mediocre All teachers will not have the sufficient knowledge and they won't spoon feed anything Students must show interest in learning In that way teachers will help Each class has a class councillor to whom each student can discuss their issues but suggestions on curriculum are not welcome.

Our college has good infrastructure and proper maintenance, but there was a lack of sports facilties

Placements: Our college offers a lot of good placements. They give necessary training for students and improve the capabilities of students and enhance them to grow stronger in the society. Our college gives a special interest in placements. Thousands of students got placed. The whole credit can be given to our director.

Infrastructure: Labs are the most important in the college for the students who want to expose them self in a better way. Labs in our college are decent. In the civil engineering department, there was a lot of fieldwork. We have got plenty of it. Food will be provided in the college. We have a vast library.

Faculty: We have PhD faculty in our college. They will guide students in a better way. The student-faculty ratio is 4:1. The student-professor ratio is 10:1. The courses which are available in the college were appreciative because of good maintenance for every subject.

Other: Sports are not much encouraged in our college, which is the main drawback of this college.

I satisfied for four years.

Placements: Less core companies and more opportunities for IT. For civil less companies will come and placements will come but it depends upon our luck. There is more placements for IT department and this year nearly fifty companies has came. Mechanical and civil developments less opportunity in the placements.

Infrastructure: There is no campus Wi-Fi and Labs are very good. Classrooms also very comfortable. Our college has library with nearly 2 lacks of books. Yes medical facility and dental college and hospital is there. There is sports cota for players and for studying. There is indoor stadium for baseball.

Faculty: Teachers will helpful with many work and studies and are qualified of ME and Ph.D. faculty. Teaching quality was good and ratio of students to faculty 10:8. We had industrial visit once in four years. Labs will twice in week and remaining periods were as usual.

Other: Yearly they conduct techno fest, freshers day, techno summit and annual function.
