Review of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Around 90 to 95 percent placement rate, with the lowest package at 3-5 lakhs, an average of 10-15 lakhs, and the highest at 20-25 lakhs. Companies like Biocon recruit here, and 70-80 percent of students get internships in various companies. It’s the best college for placements throughout Tamil Nadu.

Infrastructure: The college offers excellent facilities, including well-equipped labs, a library with a wide selection of books, and highly qualified teachers. The hostel has good facilities, with rooms shared by four people. Both veg and non-veg food options are available daily, and the food quality is excellent. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers were generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They were approachable for doubt-solving sessions and assisted in relevant fields. Most faculty members were well-versed in the subject matter, providing updated and accurate information that reflected both theoretical knowledge and industry practices.

Other: I like biology, so I chose this course. The best part is that the research in this course is very good. There are a lot of events happening in college.

Exceptional college experience.

Placements: The college consistently placed more than 96 percent of the students. 90 percent of students got internships. The highest package offered is 41 lacs per annum. The lowest package offered is 3 lacs per annum. The average package offered is 5.7 lacs.

Infrastructure: There are various facilities and infrastructure available, such as wi-fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, canteens, research centers, mess, basketball courts, churches, hospitals, pharmacies, bus and many more. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is very excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very extraordinary. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 50 percent. The semester exams at the college are well structured.

College is good and getting better each year.

Placements: Placements are quite good. 80% of the students get placed, whether in a core or non-core company. Placement provides regular training for the placement students. The highest package secured in this batch is 41 LPA, the lowest being 3 LPA and the average was 5.7 LPA. Companies like ZIFO, MuSigma, Mindtree, etc. come for recruitment. Biotech students also have the opportunity to get placed in other IT-based companies other than biotech companies. The top roles offered are research scientist and analyst.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Classrooms are equipped with projectors to enhance learning. The campus library provides all kinds of books, including the essential books each semester and also literature novels and competitive books for GATE, IELTS, GRE, UPSC, etc. Language classes are also given. Day scholars get free lunch and the hostelers get all breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with evening snacks. Also, a canteen is available. Hospitals and sports arenas are also available.

Faculty: The faculty has a good attitude towards the students. If the student maintains a good rapport with the faculty members, they can get various help during projects and for getting good LORs. Semester exams are moderate and might depend on the subject. Above 50% are the passing marks.

My college experience and its well established infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was about 41 LPA, and the average package stood at 5.7 LPA. The top recruiters were Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, HCL, and Amazon, and students are also being placed in core companies significantly. Roughly 70% of students received internship offers leading to recruitment. The majority of our students attained top roles such as analysts, research scientists, etc.

Infrastructure: Most classrooms have projectors, and our labs are well-equipped with instruments. Additionally, we have good lab practices, with faculty guiding us. The hostel food is so tasty, and it provides 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities along with good medical care whenever needed. The hostel rooms are clean, and regular cleaning will be done. They also offer laundry services for hostellers.

Faculty: Teachers are incredibly helpful as they clear our doubts and guide us in building our careers. The curriculum they have planned for us is highly relevant to our subjects, enabling us to learn how to execute our project work effectively. Moreover, they assist us with our project work. Our campus hosts two research parks where we can explore various facets of biotechnology.

Sathyabama university has good placements .

Placements: 90% of the students attending placement will get placed for sure in any company. The highest package is 25 LPA, the average is 5-8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Mostly everything is an IT company; you can see core will come around the end of the semester and mostly 5-7 companies.

Infrastructure: Mess food is really good and the infrastructure is also good; it has every piece of equipment and instrument for the course and students should make use of it. The lab and project house have met the needs but they can improve. They have a designed placement cell that gives a variable train from top to bottom.

Faculty: The course weightage and difficulty are up to par and very professional for the industry. The exams and assignments are as regular as at other colleges. The books and materials are already available on the website, open to all. The pass percentage is above 50% for the respective exam.

Other: Nice and interactive campus.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
