Shoolini University College review.
Placements: It has a dedicated placement cell. Placement for biotechnology is mostly in QA/QC, production, research assistant, lab assistant or R&D. Some good companies come for placement. Though more core companies are needed. But overall the placement is good here. Though mostly students from the biotech field go for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The university is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, well-maintained labs, and digital classrooms. The buildings are great as well. There are several great research labs as well as practical labs. There is a good supply of media and all the chemicals needed for research. There's Cancer Research Centre as well.
Faculty: The faculty is great here. They always support the students through the course, studies, or their plans. Curriculum is up to date as well. There are great courses for foundation biotechnology as well as research courses. There are minor courses that you can take across the departments.
Other: The crowd is great.

After so many days of worrying, I finally found my fit.
Placements: Placements have increased in the B.Sc course over the last few years. Especially in the last few years, EdTech has taken a boom. They prefer candidates in the B.Sc courses as we are given very deep knowledge of our subjects. Also, scientific writing firms have also started employment.
Infrastructure: My department is very well equipped with laboratories which are really important for my course. Hostel facilities are at par, especially with the dead stories that I have heard from my older cousins. The hostel has been a relief. Moreover, they do listen. Feedback is taken often and acted upon.
Faculty: Faculty members have immense knowledge of the field, academia, and research. I get to learn so much from them. They are always there to help us learn and solve our issues. The exams are fairly easy but the top scores work really hard. The practical classes equipped us with the skills of the world and make us ready for life.

Satisfied with the university for now.
Placements: The placements are pretty average. The average package can vary through the years for my course. Most companies are Biocon and depending on the course can range from Swiggy and other pharmacy companies. The highest paid package is around 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: They have high-speed Wi-Fi everywhere but in the AI block they have a speed of around 200 Mbps. The food is average and their cleanliness is maintained throughout the university. All the equipment is present in the labs and maintained by the university.
Faculty: The course is pretty great and industry-centric which makes it easier for students to be industry-ready. Faculty members are very helpful and understanding. They increase creativity with different kinds of tests as well as the course curriculum teaching methods including practical methods.
Other: The best part of the university is the surrounding nature as well as the community and the fest that occurs. There are many fests that help us socialize.

It is the cleanest campus in the North.
Placements: When I passed out, no companies were there for our course and no one was placed in our batch. The top package was 15 LPA two years ago and I don't know the current status. The top recruiting companies that I heard of were Cipla, Dabur, etc. 30% of students got internships in Verka and Dabur for roles like quality control, food security, etc. I don't know anything about top roles since they did not offer like that.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good like Wi-Fi connection is everywhere on the campus. Labs have all instruments, tools, and reagents that are needed. Classrooms also have enough space for students. The infrastructure is okay but not that great. The hostel has a laundry and cleaning service which is good and I liked it. Cleanliness in the hostel which I think is good. Food quantity is also okay and sometimes great. One thing that I love is the special dinner in the hostel which they offer at every festival or occasion. Medical and sports facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful towards us. They do everything that we ask for whether it is thesis related study related or personal issues. They all are PhD holders and qualified by government universities and institutes. They provide practical knowledge and industry knowledge among students. Exams are MCQ-based which I do not like at all because we have no written knowledge but it is okay to compete in competitive exams.
Other: I chose this course because after COVID I have an interest in vaccines and scientific things so I chose Biotechnology for my future. India doesn't have many biotech companies to provide jobs to students that did graduation in biotechnology. Due to the chill area, the crowd is normal. Events or fests are organised every 3 to 4 months. Scholarships are also available for students who score above 85% in 12th. Sports clubs are also there for athletes.

Get to know by Rizul about Shoolini University.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Abbott, Cremica, and Biooxygen. The average package given by placements after internship is 18 Lacs per annum. They provide 100% placements. The course is easy, not much tough. Almost every student has got an internship from the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The university is aesthetically pleasing and vibrant, offering a scenic view. Wi-Fi is available for everyone and is open. The labs are well-equipped with instrumentation and chemicals. Almost every book of our subject and other subjects is available. The quality of food in the mess is ok, and we can eat it. Among other colleges, I found that our hostel food is okay, and we can eat it. They also provide proper hygiene.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have great knowledge about their subjects. They teach us by providing PPTs and sources, and that is available on DigiCampus. The exams here are online and occur three times a semester. But sometimes it depends on the teacher if they want to take an offline exam.
Other: I chose this college because I wanted to live in a university on the mountains, and getting a degree from the mountains was the best decision I could have made. The best thing about my course is that they offer a 2+2 program and are well connected with universities globally. There are many events on my campus, and many special occasions are also celebrated here.

Shoolini University from Paarisha's perspective.
Placements: Top recruiting companies for my course are Cremica, Abbott, Biooxygen, and many more. They provide 100% placements. The percentage of students in my course is many, and the average package they offer is 18 LPA. They guarantee 100% placements; the rest depends on the student if they want to avail themselves or not.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with all the chemicals. The library is a 4-story building, and almost every book is available in the library. The Wi-Fi is open, works 24/7, and is freely accessible for everyone. The quality of food is bearable, which is okay. There are many hostel events like DJ night and dandiya night, along with a special dinner.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and friendly, and every teacher mostly has done a Ph.D. They clear our doubts very clearly without any fear. The exams are moderate and occur online, which includes a mix of easy, hard, and medium questions, along with subjective questions as well.
Other: I chose this course because I wasn’t able to clear my NEET exam. There are two particular main events that happen: Manchtantra and Moksh. Other fests like the Law Fest and Media Fest also happen. There are a variety of clubs to choose from as well.

A University in the hills. What is the truth?
Placements: The placements in our university is average because, although the team tries best to give students a job, the jobs that are provided are really not what students want. We have seen very often that students who are in B Tech are given sales jobs which actually should be given to management students. The packages are not very high. Basically, not everyone gets their desired jobs.
Infrastructure: The labs are average. Not really equipped with enough instruments, chemical, tools, etc. Labs does not have enough space or seating for students. Classrooms are quite small for the number of students they take in. Wi-Fi does not work at all at some parts of the campus, well it doesn't work most of the time. You have to rely on your mobile data. Library is quite beautiful and peaceful, with a good environment and enough space to study, equipped with a healthy amount of books. Hostel feels is very high compared to the facilities they provide. Mess food is land and tasteless. Not all the rooms gets sunshine in the morning. Always hot water problems in the morning. Medical facilities are really bad in the campus. You should not get sick here.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are qualified professors with very good knowledge of their subject. Their teaching method is also good. Some are very interesting, can be boring, but not always. The subjects are relevant to my course. The semester exams are easy if you study. Exams are held online, except practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in it. I just want them to improve placements for our course. Annual fest is really good. Lots of events take place in the campus in a regular basis.

Campus is full of life, laughter and happiness.
Placements: Since it is a graduation degree, not many students opt for placements but those who opted were placed at a minimum package of INR 3.5 LPA in top recruiting companies like Zydus, Abryl, etc. For internship (paid) there are so many options in the college itself.
Infrastructure: The best part of the college is the infrastructure with great facilities. The labs has every instruments, library with more than 5000 books and classrooms with advance technology like projector and free Wi-Fi connection in the whole campus. Hostel and mess food is good too.
Faculty: When it comes to teachers, they are good, well qualified and are supportive. Their teaching quality is up to the mark. The course structure is very much relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult with an average passing percentage of 33%.
