Good for CS admission at SRMU.

Placements: Placement is average in our college. Few companies are coming for placement. There are many students in the B.Tech CS branch, and the placement is less because there are a large number of students. There are many courses also suffering from this issue, and many are getting placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. We have a basketball court and a good area to play. Hostel is well-equipped with infrastructure. We have a big mess, a well-equipped gym, and a common room for meetings. There is a CCTV camera on every floor, which is good for our safety.

Faculty: Faculty members of SRMU are so excellent. They are friendly and cooperative with students. They have huge experience in their field. They guide us very well regarding our future objectives. They exhibit their gratitude for anything. They teach and guide us well.

A good campus to build future with budget friendly expenditure.

Placements: 60%-70% of students got placed here. The highest package is 11 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, etc. 20%-40% of students get internships here. Software development engineer is the top role, followed by data engineer.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided, but not at the best level. Wi-Fi is provided. Labs and classrooms are good and have sufficient space. The library is good. The qualities are good enough to accommodate and continue our study. Food quality is so good, and the behavior of the workers is also good. The canteen is there with a higher price for each item than usual. But still, their behavior is polite enough to buy. There is sufficient space for different games. Different courts are there to play games. Yoga and exercise garden is also an addition to all these things.

Faculty: Faculty are at an average level. Since it is a private college, you can't expect too much from them. Students have to explore on their own and with their peers, and they need to study hard. Somewhat relevant to industrial works. Papers are good enough to force students to do proper study, even if it is self-study or whatever you can. Pass percentage is above 92% here.

Other: I was keenly interested in CS, so I chose this course. Many logical things are needed to explore here. Till now, I am happy but not so much. Faculty members can be improved so that the placement rate can be increased with average package. Events and fests are conducted at a proper interval of time. Last time, Pawandeep and Arundhita came to cheer the students. Many activities are conducted within the city college for participation. Professors are supportive enough here and encourage participation.

SRM never disclose the cut off marks or rank for all the branches and campuses. They used to fill their seats according to vacancies so I guess you need to get within 7000 or less to get CS or its specialization in main campus in Category A and this depends upon the difficulty of paper and competiti
