- Admissions to the undergraduate programme shall be in accordance with the scores obtained in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) only.
- Students are required to select 6 Elective Courses from the list of approved courses offered each semester.
- Candidates looking forward to practice law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE), conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India

Candidate must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with above mentioned marks form any recognized board/ council. Result awaited students can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April / May, 2024 are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2024. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they will lose their right to be considered for admission.
Eminent Sports Persons (Tamil Nadu Category) Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate shall be a resident of Tamil Nadu before the date of medal winning performance.
The candidate shall fulfil all eligible minimum eduacation qualification criteria prescribed for the Tamil Nadu category and programme applied for.
The candidate shall have appeared in the CLAT Examination and found to be eligible for CLAT counselling.
