Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) conducts Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by participating National Law Universities. After declaration of CLAT 2027 results, Consortium will begin counselling for eligible candidates. Those who qualify must register for CLAT counselling, upload all mandatory documents and complete the admission formalities.
Candidates should also check NLU-wise seat matrix to understand number of seats available in each category before filling their preferences. No, the CLAT Scorecard will not be sent by post. The only way to get the scorecard is to download it online. Candidates can visit CLAT portal; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Enter their login ID and password. The CLAT Result will appear on their screen.
No, you can not appear for counselling if you have not cleared CLAT Exam.
The CLAT Result is normally released just a few days after the final answer key has been displayed. Candidates must note that the result is not announced until the final answer key is published.
Apart from the other important documents required for CLAT Counselling, the CLAT Scorecard is must. Candidates must ensure to cross check the details mentioned on the scorecard before downloading it. In case of discrepancies, reach out to the consortium before the counselling day.

Candidates who have received an invite from consortium could register for CLAT 2027 counselling. Check below to know more
- Log in to CLAT account
- Enter credentials
- Validate invitation for counselling in each round
- Click ‘Make Payment’ tab
- Pay counselling registration fee of INR 30,000 (general category candidates) or INR 20,000 (ST/ SC/ OBC/ BC/ EWS/ PWD categories)
- CLAT Counselling Registration fee has to be made online
- Once fee payment is done, they can log out

How to Get Full Refund of CLAT Counselling Registration Fee 2027?

Those who are not allotted any seat after fifth counselling round will receive full refund of counselling registration fee

Candidates who exit counselling process without selecting Freeze or Float will also get full refund

Those who choose Freeze or Float and exit before last date will receive a full refund

If a candidate exits after the last exit date, INR 5,000 will be deducted from refund

Candidates allotted a seat for first time in fifth round will get Full refund if they exit or do not complete admission

Yes, the Consortium removed two Test Cities from the CLAT 2027. The removed test cities are Vellore and Tiruvarur. CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6.
