CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA whose score card/ rank helps in taking admission in all major UG courses besides BTech. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech must take the JEE-Main exam, which is also a national-level entrance exam but mainly for admission to BE/ BTech in various government and private universities and colleges.
Also, Tezpur University accepts admission in its BTech course based on the scorecard/ rank of JEE-Main. For lateral entry to BTech, the candidate needs to take Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's own entrance exam.
Candidates must prepare well for the examination described above because only a good rank above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by TU will make the applicant eligible for further counselling rounds followed by document verification and fee payment.
Tezpur University (TU) intakes admission in its BSc programme through two mediums: CUET-UG and Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's entrance exam. Candidates willing to take admission in any of the specialisations of BSc must need to take the examinations described above.

Following the results announcement, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will make available the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 cutoff. Shortlisted candidates for the admissions process will be those who meet the CAT 2023 cutoff. Yes, definitely you can get admission to Tezpur University without having mathematics in Common University Entrance Test CUET UG because mathematics is an optional subject while pursuing Bachelor's in Commerce Bcom and if you haven't opted for mathematics in your 12th then there is no need to opt it
