Overall a good institution.

Placements: In one branch the total capacity is around 65-70 students. The highest package got from CSE branch. Top recruiting company L&T, BlackRock, Amul, ONGC, etc. From one batch it depends on recruiter to intake newbies. On average 10-20 students gets paced on campus placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Facilities are good. Faculty upto the mark. Good Wi-Fi facility in departments and hostel. Well equipped labs. Hostel food average. Medical, bus facilities also available. Banking, Post Office related facilities are also available inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. 4 exams are conducted in one semester which includes Sessional 1, Midterm, Sessional 2 which is mostly assignments and Endterm. Semester teams are quite difficult and questions are asked from in depth knowledge. Overall curriculum is upto the mark.

Our university has moderate placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Our university offers decent placements in our batch. Around 176 students of UG and PG courses got placed in reputed companies. Approximately 10% of students got placed in civil engineering. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is L&T. Almost 100% of students got internships in different companies. Top roles are also offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Our campus is huge and it is located on the rural outskirts of Tezpur. Facilities like dining areas and dedicated health are available. Horticulture and computer centers are also provided. Hostel facilities are well maintained except for CMH. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratories, classrooms, and a central library are available. The food served in the mess is also good. The food quality of Kanchenjungha men's hostel is better than all hostels.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There are 4 semester exams, and the total mark is 150 per subject. In our college, the passing marks depend on the relative marking system.

Tezpur University is a prestigious university around the world.

Placements: A maximum of 2% of students from our department got placed. I don't know about other courses. Placements are the only thing where our university lacks. None of the PSUs visits here for engineering students except for the mechanical department. At least 5 PSUs should visit from every department. None of the PSUs visits, which is very disappointing, and being a civil engineering student, it is very difficult.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is brilliant here. The library is good, and there are lots of books. Wi-Fi is available, and labs are brilliant. Classrooms are very good, and the hostel is like a second home. I missed the hostel during the lockdown period. Medical facilities are also available here. I love to play every kind of sports.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and well educated. Our course curriculum is very similar to IIT, but I think such unnecessary knowledge is not important for any student. Our college used to put lots of pressure, which is good I guess because after completing our degree, such kind of confidence will help.

Other: It is the best university in Assam.

It is the best college for pursuing degree and education but not for placements.

Placements: Approximately 20% of the students got placements from all departments. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Zaloni and Power Grid. Almost 50 to 60% of the students got an internship through college.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, computer centre, classrooms and library. Quality of facilities is the best like Wi-Fi and computers centre. Food is good, and there is the best quality of health centre. For sports, there are football, cricket, volleyball and basketball ground.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. Some teachers are not helpful, but they are well-qualified. This course curriculum is relevant to the industry, and it makes students industry-ready.

Faculty is trustworthy but placements are not! Infrastructure is to be updated and facilities too!

Placements: Placements to be honest are not quite sound in the civil engineering branch! Every year 1-2 companies come to recruit whose average salary is around 2 LPA. Government companies are very rare and mostly reservation oriented! With time I am sure this scenario will change as compared to the previous years the average package has soared!

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is surely better than other state based colleges and then I personally love my faculty staff and I am sure its one of the best from all the universities! Wi-Fi, labs and libraries are upto the mark! I would scale the hostel facilities a 8 out of 10! But one of the thing to be upgraded is the medical facility! The doctors are totally not reliable and this I am saying from my boast experiences!

Faculty: 1. Yes teachers are absolutely qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality differs from teacher to teacher but None of them are bad. 2) yes ofcourse! Civil engineering is one of the most relevant course in the world ! And I am sure TU will produce tones of qualified and good civil engineers in the future.
