NMAT exam is conducted for the admission to PGDM course. After the result declaration, it is advisable to the candiates to be attentive and vigiliant throughout the admission process. Candidates should keep their documents ready for the next stages.

The next stage of the NMAT selection process is the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) round conducted by the participating institutes.

The participating institute may also decide to conduct a WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. Thapar University Merit-Based Cutoff 2024: Check Category-Wise Scores

Thapar University merit-based cutoff 2025 will be available soon based on the merit of Class 12 or equivalent examination. In the meantime, candidates can refer to the table below to view the previous years' cutoff details. Thapar University BE cutoff 2024 based on Class 12 merit was released for different categories of students. During the second round of seat allotment based on the merit score of Class 12, the cutoff was released for specialisations, including Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Business Systems, and Electronics & Communication, etc. The cutoff was released for Punjab and outside-Punjab candidates.
