Bachelors Degree in medicine, paramedical sciences, and another four-year program in pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering, and law Or Candidates who successfully completed all the requirements of their final year degree (including all examinations and internships).

Candidate must have completed graduation or equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university/ college.
Proof of English Language Proficiency is essential only for an applicant who has studied in a university located in a non-English speaking country or whose mode of Instruction during previous Degree/ diploma was not English. The candidate has to provide any one of the following scores. The score should not be older than two years.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Academic version-minimum score of 6.5 is required.
Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL - iBT): a score of above 90 or intermediate level performance or Certification of Proficiency in the English issued by the University/College/School from where the candidate has passed her/ his last qualifying examination.
Kindly note, only those students who have qualified from foreign Universities or Boards of Higher Education, recognized as equivalent by the AIU, are eligible for admission.

- Pre-Interview Test & Personal InterviewShortlisted candidates will be called for the pre-interview test (PIT) and personal interview (PI) based on the score obtained in TISS National Entrance Test (TISS-NET). The pre-interview test consists of a written test conducted before the personal interview. International Students have to take Online International Entrance Test (IET) and shortlisted candidate will be invited for Skype interviews.
- Merit ScreeningAdmission is based on the TISSNET score and performance in pre-interview test and personal interview. Selection parameters and weightages: TISSNET score- 40% Pre-Interview Test- 30% Personal Interview- 30% For International Students, admission is based on the IET score and performance in skype interview.

TISS Mumbai announces its shortlist and eligibility for various courses to gain admission to the annual UG & PG programs. There are approximately 2 departments and colleges in TISS Mumbai where the termination will be determined based on the booking stages and the availability of seats
