UniPune BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025

UniPune BSc is a three-year blended and a BSc in four and one specialisations. The University conducts the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) for admission to these courses. College is famous for its main building, which is a historic monument. Overall, the college is good.

Placements: I got 80 percent in my HSC. The average package is 5 LPA. TCS and Wipro are the top recruiting companies on campus. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got internships in our college. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, and Capgemini offer paid internships in our college. Roles like software engineer, etc., are offered by the companies.

Infrastructure: Overall, the facilities and infrastructure in our college are very good. Faculty members are very well educated in our department as well as in other departments. The college hostel is very good. The outer part of the hostel is very old, but the inner part of the hostel has been renovated and well-equipped facilities are provided.

Faculty: Professors are very strict, but if you need any help regarding academics, they will definitely help. Semester exams are quite difficult. The course taught to us is industry-relevant. In our college, professors focus more on practical learning instead of only theory.

Other: This college was established in the year 1885, so it is very old. The previous year NIRF rank of the college is 58, and this year the rank is 67. That is why I took admission here.

I'm satisfied with the campus life here, really good infrastructure and excellent teaching staff.

Placements: In B.Sc. Computer Science course, the placement rate is 80 to 85 percent. Many students opt for a Master's after completing a Bachelor's. Moreover, top companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Capgemini, TCS, etc. Approximately the salary range is between 3.5 LPA and 3.9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The Fergusson College campus stretches over 65 acres, with a very big campus to explore. There are many departments from computer Science to geology to animation media and photography. It gives students a wide variety of courses to choose from. Apart from this, there are hostels and canteens for students.

Faculty: The Fergusson College B.Sc. Computer Science faculty has nearly 35 teaching staff. They are very highly qualified, and the classes are 1 hr each and a practical of 4 hours. The semester exams are generally not that difficult, and anyone who attends regular lectures would find it very easy.

The college gives good placement.

Placements: At Pratibha College, there will be average placement, not every student will be placed. But it's dependent on the skills that we learned in academics. The highest package is upto 7 LPA, and minimum package is around 2 LPA or 3 LPA approximately. The top roles are offered in computer studies.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. There is a good library for studying with Wi-Fi. We also have Wi-Fi facility in classroom. College provides hostel. We have good food in mess, and canteen is currently off. There is good sports in college like kho-kho and volleyball.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are available at any time to solve student doubts. There is 6 month 1 semester pattern in college, and it is very good for students' examination taken from Savitribai Phule Pune University by semester patterns.

It is the right option to choose BCA in this college. Placements are decent and are increasing.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is good. Various top MNCS companies come for recruitment, such as Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. The highest package from the college is about 6 LPA. The average package is 3-4 LPA, and about 50% students get placed every year, but there is no internship provided. Students have to find one on their own.

Infrastructure: The course is very good because it is theoretically and practically easy for students to clear the basics of the subject. There are a total of 8 subjects, consisting of 7 theory and 1 practical-based subject. There is only one canteen in the college, and sports facilities are good, but not very good. There is a small library and a decent number of books. The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi for students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, humble, and well-qualified. They have greater knowledge about their field. Their teaching technique is so good that they clear all theoretical concepts practically, and the course makes you industry-ready by clearing the basics. There are a total of 2 exams held in one semester, one at the college level and one at the university level, each of 35 marks.

Other: There is an induction program for freshers about 7-8 days, also there is the Ganesh festival of 10 days, and in Navratri, a grab is organized at the college level. Also, there is a sports day held in January. There are various scholarships for general students, for example, the EBC scholarship that reduces 50% tuition fees, which is provided for the Maharashtra government through the mahadbt portals.

Good placements and development. It is an autonomous college.

Placements: 92% placement provides Sangamner College. The highest package is 40 LPA to 45 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Recruiting companies are Tata Motors, Allinaz, HCL, etc. Students' percentage is around 87% to 92% in M.Sc. courses. My college provides a high degree or a high-level graduation in Sangamner.

Infrastructure: All facilities available in Sangamner College include free Wi-Fi, free filter drinking water, and a canteen for all students. There are classrooms for teaching. There is a library access for studying up to 1 lakhs reading books available for students. The sports and games in college are on top.

Faculty: Best quality teachers available, like B.Ed completed and highly qualified teaching staff. The exams are not difficult. My college is an autonomous college. The pass percentage is very low, up to 25 marks are passing college is the best.

Other: I chose B.Sc. Electronic Science because this course is new in 3 to 4 years, and electronic circuits or new electronic devices are in the future stage, which is very important to us. College provides scholarships to all students, which is helpful for poor students.

Dissatisfied by attitude of HODs and I dont like compulsory attendance.

Placements: Placements are not great, according to our seniors, students should go for off campus placements. College does not bring good companies or positions required. Instead, they ask students to apply for any placement position they are bringing. Some of our seniors are offered sales positions.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure lacks the necessary devices. Animation lab does not have pen tab or paid software like Nuke . Hostel is not good, and it does not provide many facilities like Wi-Fi and hot water. For Animation course, a lot of devices are missing like access to camera, etc.

Faculty: On paper curriculum is good but practically, feels like way off. Exams are good, and are conducted weekly to check on us CT 1, CT 2 and one sem. Even if nothing is taught, you still have to give the exams. Though questions are out of the syllabus or topics are not covered. 75 % attendance feels like a life or death sentence.
