Infrastructure: Facilities like libraries, big classrooms, computer laboratories, hostels for both genders with adequate space, a botanical garden, parking, 3 canteens, an amphitheater, a close amphitheater along with an open amphitheater, all types of laboratories, tennis clubs, badminton courts, and all types of playgrounds are there.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, creative, supportive, and well educated; almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder in their respective subjects of interest. Curriculum is NEP 2020 2.0, where there is a slight change in curriculum with more flexibility according to the students studying.
Other: This course have a vast scope in future to inculcate all the types of problems to be solved like climate change, food habits, etc. The best thing about the course is that we can have huge respect and lots of option in every industry. The laboratory skills should be more tough rather than basic. Dozens of events, campus crowds are huge, connectivity is good for social activities, and scholarships for EWS students are still provided according to their needs.

Our college has excellent teachers and job opportunities.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA after B.Sc. But according to me, students must have to pursue M.Sc. in biotechnology so that the amount of the highest salary package will be increased. You can choose the specific field in which you are interested and do some projects with lecturers which also helps us in better placements.
Infrastructure: Labs have an important role in the biotech branch. Labs in the college are well maintained. High hygiene is maintained in animal and plant tissue culture labs. They have lab instruments such as a spectrometer, centrifuge machine, ice picker, COD digester, and all others. There is a total of 3 buildings for the boys' hostel. One of them is not maintained well but the other two are good.
Faculty: Except for a few, all the other teachers are good enough in our college. Most of them did Ph.D. in specific subjects. Exams are held in much systematic way and are moderately difficult. Exam pattern for FC includes CE1, CE2, and ESE. CE1 and CE2 are conducted for 50 marks and ESE is for 50 marks. Exams help students to work in industries.

Review of Fergusson College.
Placements: Placements in the biotechnology department take place mostly for HR positions in companies like Infosys and Accenture along with pre-placements training, etc. Other companies include Lupin, Emcure, and Serum. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Very few students opt for placements, because others are interested in MBA or jobs, while others are research-oriented and look for internships.
Infrastructure: In this college, girls' hostel is not good, and the fee structure is very high for facilities. There are many restrictions in this college. Laboratories have mismanaged equipment that is not regularly calibrated or maintained. The canteen is good with a clean environment and it provides a good place to sit.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely knowledgeable with great teaching quality. Our course curriculum is relevant to the subject however, time-table and course completion are mis-managed. Practicals are conducted haphazardly towards the end of a semester so students lack good basic hands-on training. Examinations are fair in this college.
Other: Annual departmental, as well as collegiate fests, are the pride of this college. Our campus is green and peaceful. This college should improve sports exposure.

Good college for one which is looking for quality education.
Placements: Good amount of people are placed on reputed institution and company working in Pune. In my batch around 30 campus placement were there, and 78/122 were given internship in some good laboratory with good salary package of around 15-20thousand per Month.
Infrastructure: About the infrastructure of the college I would say that it was old college with building of British rule I guess but due to constant restoration and maintenance it was good in condition, regarding the facility the college was have Wi-Fi hotspot canteens football ground basketball ground etc. The classroom were also spacious and comfortable and labs were also decent.
Faculty: Teacher were are all highly qualified professionals in their subject with more than 25+ years of teaching experience and were aware of all new method of teaching ie. Smart class system, faculty ratio was also high because no one wants to miss the class due to strictly followed attendance system, and yes we were getting industry exposure for what ever field we were studying for.
Other: Yes cultural fest and annual festival were organized by the college every year and picnics were also made and
Campus is also beautiful
Some students were also taken for educational tours.

Best choice for students who are looking forward for career in science field.
Placements: The placements offered in this college are good. Many famous companies are invited to the college. Mostly 80% of the students get placed. More than 50 companies come for recruitment. The placements are not available for arts, but vocational, and science side has placements every year. Multinational companies come for offering jobs.
The salary depends on the company and students individually. Seniors were placed and offered salaries around Rs. 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure. Everything is available like separate classrooms, labs, sports courts and gym. The food in the canteen is good. There are a sufficient number of classrooms, i.e., 79 in number, with spacious seating arrangement, ventilation and projectors.
There are 52 labs for general programmes and 15 labs for research and development programs. There are separate buildings for all the science departments. High-end research equipment is available in labs. There are 13 audiovisual halls and 1 amphitheatre. There is one open amphitheatre which is constructed recently. Kimaya and lower recreation hall are available for extracurricular activities. Basketball hall, boxing hall, judo hall, table tennis hall, badminton hall, lawn tennis courts and basketball courts are available along with a huge playground. The famous library Bai Jerbai Wadia library with lots of books are available to study on the first floor.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty. Different teaching methods are available for different subjects by respective teachers. PPTs are shown for better understanding. There will be regular discussions and continuous internal assessments. The teachers are always available for help even on social media and are friendly. Regular field visits are also conducted. The teaching methods are flexible depending on the student's demands. Every student understands the subject. This is taken care of by every teacher in the department. The course curriculum was helpful and enjoyable too.
Other: Annual fests take place, and the crowd is really good. The connectivity is best. You have FC road right by the side. The scholarships are available. Many extracurricular activities take place throughout the year.

Best college and campus with all the facilities.
Placements: Placements were good, and many of my friends were selected. They are working and earning a good salary. Good companies were there for the campus for aboard also. Many seniors are working, and they are guiding us to. There is a placement cell which takes care of everything and every batch of all the candidates. Many students are getting a good salary lie Rs. 40,000 and more.
Infrastructure: This college has many facilities such as Wi-Fi and good canteen. The library is quite good for studies. There is much more scope for sports too. We have all types of games indoor as well as outdoor. Quality of lab is very good with all the facilities, while all the equipment is provided in the labs which are needed.
Faculty: The teachers are best and are helpful. They support for studies as well as extracurricular activities. Teachers are well-qualified. They do have all types of knowledge about their subjects. If there are any questions or problems, they are there to help us. The blackboard teaching method is used.
Other: The college does organise the best fest in Pune. Many guests come to the college. The campus is too big and greenery.

I truly appreciate the Fergusson culture.
Placements: The companies like Wipro had visited our campus. It offered a job with a facility of pursuing the post graduation. It's like learn and earn type concept. The probability of getting selected in campus recruitment is very high when you do M.Sc. Many of my friends from biotechnology in the institute has placed in prestigious companies like Serum, ZocDoc, BioEra, etc.
Infrastructure: The laboratories of the college are equipped with the most technologically advanced instruments and machinery, and a few of which are not even available in Pune University campus. There are continuous electricity and water supply. The department of biotechnology has its library and other than this, all the Fergussonians have access to B.J. Wadia library which is situated in the heart of the campus. NET lab is also available to access the internet.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and assistive in the college. They are qualified from the best institutes in the country, and even, few of them are Fergusson alumni. The practicals and lectures are regularly conducted. Most of the faculty members are females. We had got an industry exposure from South India and Goa University.
Other: Chimera is the annual festival of the department, and it is conducted with unparalleled zeal. The campus is spacious and green.

Getting admission in such a prestigious college itself gives great career opportunities
Placements: There were very less companies for the placement season of the batch 2016, as less number of people opted to work after graduation itself. There are only final placements and no internships provided by the college. Companies like Accenture came to the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The quality of the labs and lab equipment were extremely good. The canteen beside the department provided good food in the context of hygiene, taste and quantity. Extracurricular activities give the student an overall development in their personalities. Events includes the departmental fest 'Chimera' and Genovation (exhibition).
Faculty: All the teachers teaching that particular course are Ph.D-qualified.
The maximum proportion of faculty members used projectors i.e. powerpoint presentations. But along with that traditional chalk and board method was also used on a regular basis. Industrial visits and other practical knowledge gave students exposure towards the real-life R&D.
