BTech at Calicut University is a four year program. The programme aim is to provide expertize in the feild of Enginering and Technology. Calicut University BTech admission admission process is explained below:

1. Calicut University BTech Application Process

Students must register on the official website of Calicut University. Once registered can now fill out the online application form online and pay the application fee. For the BTech course, it is mandated to register through the Centralised Admission Process. Calicut University BTech application process 2025 is online. The Calicut University BTech application fee is INR 420 (INR 175 for SC/ ST). Find below the steps to apply for Calicut University admission.

1. Visit the official website, https.//uoc.ac.in/ and click on the registration link available on the Home page.

2. Create a CAP ID by providing the basic details after clicking on the ‘New User (Create CAP ID)’ on the registration page.

3. After successful submission of the details, a CAP ID and password are sent to the registered mobile number instantly.

4. Login and fill out the application form by entering the required data.

5. After completing the registration form, click on the ‘Finalise & Proceed to Payment’ button and make payment.

Good in terms of placements, education, infrastructure, and faculty. Events are fewer.

Placements: In my college, about 75 to 80 percent of undergraduate students are placed in top companies. Companies like IBM, TCS, Cognizant, and many other companies visit our campus for placement. Internship opportunities are solely students' efforts. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a separate library for Computer Science as well as a central library. A digital library is also available. Labs are also up to the mark and follow the KTU requirements. Our college is known for sports activities, and we have separate clubs for dance, music, literature, technical clubs, etc.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified, having graduated from top universities like NIT and IIT. Even though one or two of them are not up to the mark, most of them guide you very well. Course curriculum and exams are common for almost all colleges in Kerala under KTU, and I think there is a gap between the curriculum and the industry. We are ranked in the 5th position in terms of pass percentage among colleges under KTU.

Other: I chose this course as I am passionate about computer Science. It provides you with great opportunities, and the roles that you could do are endless. If the course could provide students with more experience while studying, it would be better. The number of events organized on our campus is less compared to other government engineering colleges, which is one thing the students complain about. Clubs are there to improve your skills and showcase them in various fields.

Placements: There is no assurance in placements because placements are conducted in college only for show. Students are recruited for mobile cell and all. Placements offered by the college are not comprehensive. But teaching is best, and it is your responsibility to perform well and find a job.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best compared to other colleges in Thrissur. Nice ambience and surroundings. You can enjoy the campus; it looks super good and is well maintained, powered by solar. For every course, they offer well-educated teachers who behave well and show responsibility towards us. I am not staying in the hostel, but I have heard that they offer good facilities in the hostel and the food is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are placed according to the branches, every branch has separate teachers for the subjects. They are all friendly, well-behaved, have a helping mentality, and show responsibility towards us. There are many programs conducted to encourage our skills. Teachers give us the important topics at the time of exams, and sometimes exams are slightly tough as KTU is taking care of it.

Placements: The college has the best placement team. They didn't come for us. They even gave us support. About 90% of students got jobs. They told the remaining 10% of students how to get a job. If, for some reason, you don't get a job, you will receive all the assistance you need from them, and it will continue until you get a job.

Infrastructure: The college has a very nice atmosphere and aesthetic interior. The host food is very good, the test and hostel are very clean, and the hostel warden is very friendly. He has a good helping mentality. The hostel warden helps students day and night. Even if it is night, everyone goes to him if they need anything.

Faculty: The college has a good team. They help the students in every way, and so on. Later, if we look at the exam, there are at least three types of exams. Various exams, like university exams, are conducted here. Many exams are introduced to prepare children for university exams.

Other: A college I would recommend to someone else.

Good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are below average. Students are getting placements if they have good technical skills and no backlogs. A few companies are coming for a campus interview visit. Mostly companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra are coming for campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. Here, each department has different blocks. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped. Fully Wi-Fi facilitated eco green campus. Labs with high technologies and good facilities. A spacious common library and specified libraries for various departments. Good canteens and emergency medical facilities are available. There is a spacious auditorium for programs.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified. Most of the teachers are M.Tech graduates, and some of them are Ph.D. holders. Their lectures are all very good. The course curriculum is based on KTU University. Their syllabus doesn't make the students industry-ready. The university exam evaluation is very bad.

Other: I chose the field of electronics because it has more possibilities in the future. The college rarely conduct events and programs.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and good placements.

Placements: Out of 60, there are 21 students in my class, with 2 late-entry students. For me, in my first year 71000 and 2nd year 3rd year 60000 and 4 th year 61000. The top companies provided are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Tata. Now I'm in my third year, and only 4,5 students are going to the internship, which was at NIT Calicut.

Infrastructure: There will be a lot of facilities in this college, including Wi-Fi connections, labs, classrooms, and libraries. Everything will not be much good, but it's not an issue. Some departments have the same labs for experiments. Actually, I'm not living in a hostel. I'm a day scholar, and one of my friends said the hostel facility is not bad, but there is a huge fee.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average. 1,2 faculty members are good at teaching, and they know how to convey the topics and how they can be easier. All teachers are helpful, and they will clear all of your doubts. Semester exams are not very difficult. We can easily crack it. Only by going through the previous year's question paper. Some of the students do not get the idea to crack it. That's the only problem.

Placements: Last year, there is a good pass percentage in our college of 85%. Good placements are obtained by different students. The highest LPA is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Some important and good companies come and interview the students and take them on as performance.

Infrastructure: There is a good library, but the lab buildings are too old. Canteen is good enough. In the mens hostel, the food was good. There was good quality Wi-Fi provided by the college management, so we could easily access the internet. There are printing machines in the college, which will be very helpful.

Faculty: Good faculty is provided by the college management. There was some exam held by the college. There is a good pass percentage in our college. Our college faculty provides good content to students, so exams are much easier for everyone, therefore, good results will be achieved.

Other: I really like building and construction, therefore I chose civil engineering. There is a good campus and a good basketball court, which is good for sports.
