Established in 1857, Mumbai University (MU) is a state-run institution, recognised by the UGC and accredited with an A++ grade by the NAAC. GICED offers various courses such as PG Diploma, B.Sc, diploma, BMS, BA, MA and B Des etc. All the courses offered by GICED are ranked significantly by the students but the Bachelor of Design course and post graduate Diploma are the highest rated courses and ranked on top by the students.

MBA admission is done through SMAT exam and Bsc is 45 percent in 12th as a minimum criteria.

Programme from the University of Mumbai or any other recognised University are eligible to apply for the online LL.M. Common Entrance Examination 2023. Mumbai University LLM Admission is entirely based on LLM CET exam conducted by the University.
