University of Hyderabad admission to most of the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the UoH. The Hyderabad University entrance exam is moderately tough as it requires examination of both subject matter and analytical skills. The level of competition varies on the basis of the number of applicants versus the seats available in a programme. Since most courses today admit students based on CUET, strategies for preparation must be in accordance with that pattern of the exam.
