University of Hyderabad BA courses are not offered as stand-alone courses. Instead, the university offers BA + MA integrated courses for the duration of five years, divided into ten semesters, and offered in full-time mode. However, the candidates have the choice to exit the course after three years and earn a BA degree.
The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission into BA courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 without stream specification, with at least an aggregate of 60%.
The University of Hyderabad BA + MA courses are available in several specialisations, such as integrated Integrated BA + MA in Economics, integrated BA + MA in Sociology, Integrated BA + MA in Language Science, Integrated BA + MA in Hindi, etc. For UOH BA admission, the university accepts the scores of CUET UG (for integrated courses). University of Hyderabad BA Fees 2025
The University of Hyderabad BA fees include multiple components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, and various other one-time charges. The total tuition fee for integrated BA courses ranges from INR 24,000 to INR 37,250. Additionally, the hostel fee for BA courses is INR 9,350, and the one-time payment ranges from INR 1,960 to INR 3,520.
The hostel fee structure differs according to the accommodation opted by students, and the category of students. The hostel fee is as follows: for UR/ EWS/ OBC the per-month room rent is INR 3,850, for SC/ ST/ PWD the per-month room rent is INR 3,150 and for SC/ST below the annual income of INR 2 LPA, the per/month room rent is INR 2,150.
