Uttaranchal University has multiple qualifications for BSc Nursing. Candidates willing to get admission in the BSc Nursing programme must have:

• a minimum age of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• twelve years of school education with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with 60% aggregate from recognised boards under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent boards.
• For SC/ST/OBC, a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together.
• must be medically fit
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 examinations in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) with 60% are also qualified.

The Uttaranchal University admisson process begins with the release of application forms. Candidates willing to apply can fill out the application form after meeting the course-specific eligibility criteria either through online or offline modes.

The University offers Bachelor of Science (BSc) in multiple specialisations such Agriculture, Agriculture, Microbiology, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.. BSc admission is based on the candidate's performance in the last qualifying exam followed by an personal interview round conducted by the University. Also computed based on marks secured in NEET is also required for admission.  The programme is offered via the School of Liberal Arts and lasts for a duration of three years. However, BA honors programme takes a minimum of four years to complete.
