    VIT has best event culture.
Placements: Almost all students get placed in their 4th year, those who choose to sit for placements. The highest package goes up to 60 LPA and the lowest goes to 3-4 LPA. It depends on your course and branch. Top companies recruit only a few students, whereas there are mass recruiting companies as well which recruit in bulk. 60-70% of students get internships; the rest apply for off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: We have 5 academic blocks and one admin block - AB1, AB2, AB3, AB4, AB5. All blocks have classrooms and labs along with an amphitheater and staff rooms. We have a library that is open throughout the day and night, also till 12. Apart from this, we have many food courts as well, like Gazebo, North Square, Gym Khana, Hunger, and Domino's. Hostel blocks A, B, C, D1, and D2 all have mess included.
Faculty: The difficulty level of every exam depends on your course and branch. We have CAT1 and CAT2 (50 marks each with 15 marks weightage) as internal exams and one FAT exam (100 marks with 40 marks weightage). For internals, we have quizzes, group projects, assignments, and all. The faculty members prepare you for placement level as well as for your higher education.
Other: VIT has the best event culture. They celebrate all religious and cultural festivals. The cultural fest VIBRANCE and the tech fest TechnoVit are also great. The campus is all lit with lights and decorations. The best time to make memories with your friends.

This is best in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Vellore Institute of Technology offers the best placement offers for the students. They can achieve good placement. There were many companies like HCL, TCS, Infosys that visited this college for placement. The highest package of this college was 35 LPA, and the lowest package of this college was 6 LPA. At least 60% was required for the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was good for the students and faculty. This University offers many facilities, such as all-time Wi-Fi for the staff and students. The classrooms were fully air-conditioned. The hostels of this University were also very big and provided good quality food in the mess hall. At the hostel, there were many games organized every year.
Faculty: The faculty of this college was very helpful and knowledgeable. They make the hard concept very easy. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum provided by the university was quite difficult for the students. It makes the students industry-ready. There were many exams organized every year so that the students could perform well in their sessional examinations.
Other: This university conducts many events and a festival every year.

Our college is good, and placement you will get just by maintaining your CGPA.
Placements: We are the second batch of our course (Bachelor of Computer Science), so our seniors will go for placements next year only, then we will get to know about the placement of our course, but our curriculum is industry-friendly and it is almost very similar to B.Tech.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is not very good. Because of common bathrooms, many girls suffer from UTIs, and even the rooms are too small. I'm paying around Rs. 70,000 for the room alone, that too a non-AC room, and it's too small, and you won't get a flat and bed, it's mostly bunk beds, which are comfortable.
Faculty: The faculty of our course is good, they are friendly. You will be provided remedial classes if you don't score good marks, and our curriculum is perfectly fit for the industry, and it makes us industry-ready and is made by industry experts themselves. Pass percentage depends on the class average. However, getting above 40% in finals is a must.

VIT Chennai review from a first-semester student.
Placements: More than 85% of students were placed from here. The highest package was 15 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The average is 8 LPA. Companies include Hero, ITC, Bosch, Reddys, Ashok Leyland, Honda, Ford, Deloitte, Global Analytics, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. From the third year, students receive internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Wi-Fi in the hostel is available but is a little slow (6 Mbps). The hostel is clean and well maintained. Table tennis and badminton are available in the hostel, and all other sports are available on campus. A health center is there, and the mess food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge in their field. The curriculum feels a bit old. There are three exams in a semester: two small exams and one big one. All three are considered for grading. In the first semester, many students fail. The exam is not hard; if you learn, you can pass.
Other: There are many events, workshops, and seminars conducted. The fest and activities are all fun.

The college is a center of development.
Placements: Totally, 97% of the students are placed every year in our college, with a package of 1,00,000. Companies like Infosys always accept our students for internships and offer them top positions with good salaries.
Infrastructure: Our course has a strong foundation, the teaching faculty members are excellent, and the development of our careers can be seen with the best facilities in the college, along with knowledgeable events happening all the time, sometimes resulting in the happiest moments.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-educated and have provided us with great opportunities to appear for exams and participate in big events organized by the government. Our exam pass percentage is 40% in written exams and 35% in external examinations. Our faculty members are the best.

It's flexible enough, but don't have high expectations.
Placements: From what I've heard from my seniors who graduated, placements for B.Com, BBA, and MBA are relatively lower compared to the vast majority of engineering core, who are 100% placed. However, the same cannot be said for us; many don't sit for placements, and the left-out ones settled for a maximum of 3 LPA jobs. MBA has a higher package of an average of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Boys' hostel is great with a food court and facilities. They are still improving the girls' hostel. It was strict before, but it has been reduced a little. Room allocation is based purely on your CGPA. The higher you have, the more priority you get in choosing.
Faculty: Courses are good, but a few faculty are good. A few faculty can do much better. Since there's a high-class strength, they can't control students well, but they are all well-qualified. The curriculum can be a little more improved, it can include courses helping in practical knowledge in this field.
Other: Compared to other top colleges for B.Com, we have fun, flexibility, and class competitiveness to thrive and study hard. It's not too strict, and our course timings are shorter than engineering.

VIT Chennai does not follow any category-wise seat reservation policy. Admission to the BTech programme in VIT Chennai is based on merit list that is prepared on the basis of the ranks obtained by the candidates in the VITEEE exam.
