September 24, 2024: Six faculty members of Vadlamudi Vignan’s University in Chebrolu mandal have made it to the world's top 2% of the scientists, Vice-Chancellor of Vignan’s University Prof. P. Nagabhushan said on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the survey conducted by Stanford University in California, USA was conducted by Prof. Ambati Ranga Rao and Dr. K. Chandrasekhar of the Department of Biotechnology, Vignan’s University, Prof. K. Venkata Rao of the Mechanical Department, Dr. Rudrapal Mithun of the Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Jotnsadevi Bodapati of the Department of Advanced CSE and Prof. T. T. Subbiah is among the top 2% of scientists in the world.
All the papers published by these six faculties in research work, research publications, H index, citations, recent publications and other publications have been taken into account and identified among the world's top 2% of the scientists.
Dr. Lavu Rattaiah, Chairman, Vignan’s Educational Institutions, deans, heads and staff of the respective departments felicitated the six internationally recognized professors by presenting cash prizes to them.
Vignan’s University MoU with SEC Industries
September 24, 2024: University Vice Chancellor Colonel, Prof. P. Nagabhushan said on Monday that a memorandum of understanding was signed between Vadlamudi Science University of Chebrolu Mandal and SEC Industries Private Limited in Hyderabad.
In the program organized on this occasion, University Vice Chancellor Col. Prof. P. Nagabhushan exchanged documents related to the MoU with Vidyasagar Donthineni, Managing Director of SEC Industries Private Limited. In a program organized on this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University said that this MoU will facilitate joint research and development projects.
On this occasion, Vidyasagar Donthineni, Managing Director of SEC Industries Private Limited, said that he is very happy to enter into an MoU with Vignan’s University. The aim of this agreement is to encourage the students towards the latest technologies and give them promotion in the respective fields.

Ph.D. for The Faculty of Vignan’s University
September 24, 2024: Kethepalli Gayathri, assistant professor in the Department of Information Technology and Computer Applications at Vadlamudi Vignan’s University in Chebrolu mandal, has been awarded a PhD degree in the department of computer science and engineering by the university, vice-chancellor of Vignan’s university Colonel and Prof P Nagabhushan said on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that research has been done on "An Empirical Study on Deep Learning Based Ensemble Classifiers for Network Anomaly Detection". She was guided by B. Premamayudu, a former professor in the Department of Information Technology and Computer Applications, Vignan’s University.
As part of her research, she published a total of 1 SCIE paper, 2 Scoopus Publications and 2 Conference Papers. Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Vice-Chancellor of Vignan’s University, Deans, Heads and Faculty members of the respective departments congratulated Kethepalli Gayathri, who has a PhD degree.
Vignan inaugurates Robot Lab
September 24, 2024: Praveen Malla, CEO of Robocoupler Private Limited said that there will be revolutionary changes in the field of robotics in the future. The Department of Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation) of the School of Core Engineering, Vadlamudi Science University, Chebrolu Mandal inaugurated the "Robocoupler's Semi-Humanoid Robot Manufacturing Hub" on Thursday.
Praveen Malla, CEO, Robocoupler Private Limited, who was the chief guest of the event, spoke that it is commendable that Vigyans University has come forward to set up a manufacturing hub with Advanced Robotics Laboratory.
Keeping in mind the needs of the industry, innovation will be encouraged and the students will get practical multidisciplinary knowledge experience. Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Registrar Dr. MS Raghunathan, Deans, heads, staff and students of the respective departments of the university participated in the program.
Survey of science students in flood areas
September 24, 2024: NSS students of Chebrolu mandal Vadlamudi Vignan’s University participated in the flood relief survey for the fourth consecutive day in the flooded areas of Vijayawada, University Vice Chancellor Colonel Professor P. Nagabhushan said on Tuesday.
As part of the survey, it was revealed that the students had conducted a survey on whether food, milk and water were being provided at the right time in the respective colony. And some students informed that they helped by unloading the food items that came in lorries from different areas into tractors and served them to the people in the nearby areas.
The students who participated in the flood relief activities were attended by Vignan’s Educational Institutions Chairman Dr. Lavu Rattaiah, Vice Chancellor Col. Prof. P. Nagabhushan, Registrar Dr. M. M. Raghunathan, Deans, Heads and students of the respective departments.
