Yes, VTU accepts Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) scores for admission to its Bachelor of technology programme (BE/BTech). In addition to Joint Entrance Examination Main, the college also accepts scores of other entrance exams such as COMEDK UGET,  Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET),  Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KPGCET), etc. Candidates must also have valid eligibility criteria, i.e., a pass in Class 12 with 45% aggregate in PCM for GM students and above 40% aggregate for SC/ ST students.

Yes, admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses at VTU is based on merit and accepted entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are  KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main,  DCET, and others. Students must prepare well for the JEE Main exams. Fill out the mock Main application form timely. Give as many mock tests as possible. 

Karnataka Examination Authority will commence the KCET application form facility after the conclusion of the exam at the official website. Applicants can make changes in the KCET application form in online mode. Candidates are allowed to make changes in certain fields only. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes.
