Yes you have got a decent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you an integrated M.Tech seat in software engineering under category 1 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in second category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and the mentioned course is most common choice in integrated programme. The best possible options are:
Integrated CSE at Vellore (1 or 2), Integrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at Vellore (Category 1 most probably else in second category), Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 1), Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 1).
Integrated CSE at Vellore (1 or 2), Integrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at Vellore (Category 1 most probably else in second category), Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 1), Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 1).

Hello, One of the biggest areas of confusion for students is picking a college. To guarantee that one ends up in the proper location to pursue their career, many factors must be taken into consideration. Some of these include the college's affiliation with the UGC, AICTE, NBA, whether it has university approval, whether the tuition is reasonable, whether there are enough classrooms, how many students are assigned to each faculty member, the faculty members' qualifications and experience, laboratory infrastructure (if your course requires it), support for internships and placements, etc. In light of the aforementioned considerations, I might choose VIT University over MGR University.
