VITEEE Cutoff 2022 will be released for each engineering stream, with higher and lower cutoffs based on candidate preferences. Candidates who will score 118 or higher would most likely be in the range of 1-250. Candidates with marks of less than 31 will be put into 20,000 or lower rank.
Candidates on the merit list will be called to participate in VITEEE Counselling. The counselling will be conducted on the basis of Rank Lists prepared as per the candidates percentile score in the examination.
As you know that VIT Vellore is very well known for its CSE Platform. And its CSE branch is in high demand. CSE branch is the most on campus placed with maximum pages above 25 lakh pa. And you must get under 5k rank in VITEEE , for getting a seat in 1st category .
Category 1 : Upto 5k rank , fee around 1.98 lakhs
Category 2 :Upto 12k , fee around 3.07 lakhs
Category 3 : Upto 16k-18k , fee around 3.95 lakhs

CSE versus ECE. The debate goes on from year to year. However, from the perspective of placements, CSE outscores ECE by miles. At least in the force-able future, this situation is likely to continue and the students will get placed. As you seem to like both the branches equally I would rather advise you to go for CSE since at least for the present and also in near future opportunities in this branch or really great. Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. There are roughly 200 seats in the 1st category and 100 in each of the other 4 categories in every branch. So as the students start taking admission, the seats start getting filled, starting from the first category seats, and then moving to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th categories. So you can end up getting CSE in the 5th category even with a rank of 10k while on the other hand, you may get Civil in the first category even with a rank of 30k. Hope it helps.
