Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the Overall, Management, and Engineering categories respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15. The institutes, 81 students from all four campuses of VIT Vellore, Chennai, Amarvati and Bhopal received the pay packages of above INR 25 LPA in its initial phase of placement season and the highest CTC stood at INR 75 LPA. The PG internship placements at VIT started in March 2021, which is going on simultaneously and has seen participation of 118 companies which have already selected 912 students from the 2022 graduation batch. Wipro Technologies (Wipro Turbo) made job offers to 278 students with a CTC (cost to company) of 6.50 Lacs per annum from the 2020 graduating batch of Vellore Institute of Technology during the campus recruitment drive held at the VIT campus. This is the highest number of dream offers given by the company to the students from a single institution, and has found a place in the Limca Book of Records in its 2020 edition (9th Time). This surpasses the earlier record of 238 dream offers made by the same company to the 2019 graduating batch of VIT. This is also the 8th time that the VIT is entering the Limca Book of Records for campus placements. Earlier, VIT has entered into the Limca Book of records in 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015 (two records), in 2016 for the highest number of IT services placements, in 2017 and 2018 for the highest number of dream offers.

Hi. VIT Vellore admission 2022 results are out. VITEEE 2022 results have been announced on July 7. Candidates with rank 1-20,000 are required to pay counselling fee by July 9. Choice filling for Phase 1 will be held on July 10-11. Seat allotment process to be conducted on July 13. In the Phase 2 of counselling, candidates with rank between 20,001 to 45,000 will have to pay the counselling fee till July 18. Seat allotment for Phase 2 of the counselling will be done on July 22. Similarly, for the Phase 3 of counselling, fee payment is to be done by July 26 and the seat allotment will be done on July 30. VIT Vellore offers its flagship B.Tech programme which is offered for a duration of 4 years via regular mode and in 10 different specializations of Engineering and Technology. Admission to the B.Tech programme at VIT Vellore is strictly done on the basis of the merits secured by the students in the VITEEE exam score followed by general counseling sessions. VIT Vellore charges a fee of INR 1.98 Lacs per year for its B.Tech programme. VIT Vellore admission process involves other national level examinations too such as NATA UCEED GATE CAT for the programs such as B.Arch B. Des, M.Tech, MBA respectively.

Yes, the seats which were not occupied in round 1 counselling, seats which were allotted in round 1 but were not accepted by the candidates who were allotted seats and seats which were cancelled due to ineligibility will be carried forward to subsequent counselling. Candidates participating in further rounds will be considered to fill the vacant seats.
