- The CUET UG 2026 registration portal is now closed for admission to several UG courses. The CUET exam 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted till Apr 9, 2026, for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.

Jawaharlal Nehru University accepts CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance test scores for admission to several undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and PG Diploma courses. The average salary given to MA pass-outs ranges from INR 3 to INR 6 LPA. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech in General AIl India Quota was 24730. In 2022, it increased to 30177. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 35469 to 44056 for OBC, 88798 to 101130 for SC, 174170 to 182186 for ST, 31360 to 39539 for EWS, 411 to 303 for PWD.. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however, the ranks are slightly different.
Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 21334 and closing rank was 30177 for BTech CSE in JNU. Moreover, cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
JNU Delhi does not accept the Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) for admission to the BTech courses. To be eligible for JNU BTech admission, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score. The final selection is based on JoSAA counselling process. The JoSAA counselling is usually held in the month of September. This year, there will be six rounds of seat allotment.

Yes, ther is BA course at JNU. School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, functioning at JNU offers a full-time BA (Hons) programme for a duration of three years. Candidates are selected for JNU BA (Hons) courses based on their merit in CUET, conducted by NTA. The University also offers lateral entry admission to the second year of the BA (Hons) programme.
CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet.
