Yes, from the year 2022 onwards, Mizoram University has made it mandatory for students to qualify CUET entrance exam for admission to UG courses. By qualifying CUET, students will able to get admission in the courses offered at campus or in affiliated colleges of Mizoram University. Below are some of the courses offered based on CUET score:

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Electrical Engineering was 338365. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. A total of 100 seats are available at Mizoram University campus for B.Ed programme. Up to 10% of seats may be assigned to students from other disciplines. Below is the intake for B.Ed at Mizoram University affiliated colleges:

Candidates who have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for Mizoram University BTech programme. Those appearing in the Class 12 final or equivalent exam may also appear for MZUEEE provisionally.

Mizoram University offers two-year B.Ed programme divided into four semesters. The university offers B.Ed at campus through the School of Education. Below is detailed eligibility for Mizoram University:

• Candidates need to pass a bachelor's degree and/ or a master's degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities with at least 50% aggregate to apply for B.Ed programme.

Yes, Mizoram University conducts an entrance test (MZUEEE/ MZU-MTEE) for admission to Engineering courses. Further for admission to MBA (T&HM), the department concerned of Mizoram University for Management course conducts an entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates. Besides, the university also conducts eligibility test for other UG and PG programmes of Mizoram University. 

For 2022, cut off was 197775 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Mizoram University. Aspirants need to secure the cut off and above rank for admission to the BTech course.

The university offers MBA, BTech, BBA courses at the UG and PG level. The university has not released Mizoram University average package data for placements 2023. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students is mentioned in the table below:

For admission to Mizoram University B.Ed programme, aspirants can either qualify CUET-PG or appear for MZU Entrance Test. The university will considers 50% of the marks obtained in the qualifying exam along with the entrance exam to determine the merit list.

Once the selection rounds are overs, Mizoram University releases a merit list. Selected aspirants need to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.

Mizoram University admission to MBA (Regular) is entrance-based. Yes, for admission to MBA at MZU, students need to qualify either of CAT/ XAT/MAT/CMAT entrance exam, followed by GD/PI rounds. 

Considering the Mizoram University JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the Round 4 seat allotment, it offers BTech and BTech Integrated courses based on JEE Main scores.
