Brainware University Alumni Network

The first pass-out batches of the Brainware University have achieved the experience of a maximum of 4 years now. 

Brainware University also known as BWU was established in the year of 2015. Since then, a few batches have passed out from the university. It is these passed-out batches that makeup Brainware University's alumni. But, the alumni of Brainware University are tied up with the alumni of Brainware Group of Institutions. Therefore, it is a combined association of alumni coming from BWU and the Brainware Group of Institutions.

Brainware University maintains an exclusive website for the Alumni Association known as AlmaShines. The website facilitates the students and alumni to connect with each other and build a network. The website enables one to search for alumni in their city or search for someone from their batch. 

Alumni from Top Courses

• BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) – BCA being a three-year-long course has the greatest number of graduates or pass-out batches. Most of the BCA alumni are working or are involved in tech companies. Some have opted for higher studies.

• BTech (Bachelor of Technology) – The engineering graduates are some of the prestigious alumni that the University has. Apart from the BTech graduates, the Alumni Association consists of alumni engineers of the Brainware Group of Institutions.

• BSc (Bachelor of Science) – A number of batches have graduated from the Science discipline. Working in various sectors, BSc graduates are a vital element of the Alumni Association.

• BSc (Honors) in Media Science and Journalism – The graduates of Journalism and Media Sciences are notable alumni due to their contribution to the media sector and representation of the university over the media and social media.

• BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) – Working in the management field, these graduates have earned success in their life and are an active part of the Alumni Association to guide the juniors in achieving the same.

Average Salary

Most alumni are recruited and placed on campus, thus the salary mentioned here was offered to them at the time of the recruitment. The salary of alumni hugely depends on the sector they are working in and starting compensation offered to them. 

The average placement CTC (Cost to Company) that is recorded for a few years is around INR 3 LPA. After the initial CTC, the CTC tends to increase at a rate of 5-10% per year. The alumni working in the IT sector and Management sector make up for the most part of the AlmaShines. Hence, the average salary lies between INR 4-7 LPA after 2-4 years of job experience. The first pass-out batches of the university have achieved the experience of a maximum of 4 years till now.

The alumni of the university work in various fields and sectors. The top ones are:

• IT Sector – The university has a background in teaching Computer Engineering from the beginning; hence, a great number of alumni work in the IT sector in companies like Amazon, Adobe etc.

• Management Sector – The university has a number of BBA graduates, making a workforce of alumni working in the management teams of various companies such as PwC, Capgemini etc.

• Journalism – The journalism graduates are a prestigious part of the alumni network involved extensively in the field of Journalism. There are a number of journalists in the Alumni Association.
