When choosing an institute for their graduation or higher studies, students and their parents pay close attention to placements. Due to a large number of students passing out from engineering colleges every year, there is a dearth of proper opportunities particularly for those coming out of core branches. In KIIT also, the scenario is much better for all the IT branches as compared to the core ones. Almost all the students in IT branches get placed by the end of their final semesters.

For the 2021 graduating batch, close to 510 corporate recruiters visited Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology to hire students from different courses offered on campus which include KIIT School of Technology, KIIT School of Management, KIIT School of Biotechnology, KIIT School of Language & KIIT School of Rural Management generating close to 5,500 offers in total. Accenture recruited 718 students and the highest CTC of INR 30 LPA was offered by Amazon. The average CTC was INR 6.5 LPA for the School of Technology & more than 1,500 paid internship opportunities were offered in total.
