"Reva University is Helping me Realise my Dream of being a Successful Advocate" says Prathik
I was drawn towards the law because I have a passion for justice and want to make a difference in the world,
I, Prathik Praveen, a second-year law student at Reva University has chosen this university for a lot of reasons; it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields such as Engineering, Management, Science, Architecture, Law, etc. The university has a reputation for providing quality education and has state-of-the-art infrastructure. The college also has an excellent reputation for its LLB course. I had gone through many online websites for finding out a good LLB college in Bengaluru and almost all of them included Reva University. Also, the fee was comparatively lesser than what the other competitive colleges. There were already a few known seniors in the college, who had given good reviews and helped me get admitted into the college. I had visited the Shiksha.com website too and this website had actually helped me secure most of the information I knew about the college back then, all reliable.

Interning Once a Year is a Mandate for BBA LLB from Reva University
I am pursuing BBA LLB from Reva University, which is a 5-year course. I joined the college in 2021 and would pass out by the year 2025. Our college offers a BA LLB course which is of the duration of 5 years too. In these 5 years, we should complete five internships under any advocate or in a law firm too. It is necessary for us to intern at least every year. It would be better to intern under better advocates or in a good law firm as that would later help us get a good job after the completion of the course. Our batch is a total of 54 students from various cultural backgrounds and most of the staff members are also quite friendly. Various programs are also organised throughout the year in our department that may be related to law, sports, dance, photography, etc. Ours is one of the very few courses in our college that has a uniform.
Reva University is Helping me Realise my Dream of being a Successful Advocate
I was drawn towards the law because I have a passion for justice and want to make a difference in the world, and I’m also attracted by the intellectual challenge of analysing complex legal issues and applying legal principles to real-world problems. Law is a diverse and challenging field that offers a wide range of career opportunities, from practising law as an attorney to working in government, academia, or business. My ambition is to work as an advocate and also have my personal firm running successfully. In achieving my ambition, my college is helping me in many ways by organising several moot court competitions for law students which will enhance our skills in the real court. The placement for the legal department is also very good; so right after completion of the course most of the students get campus placed into top legal firms. Our college and staff encourage all the students to take part in various activities so they will have more exposure to the real legal world.

Organising an Event at the College was an Experience of a Lifetime
Every year the fresher’s party is organised by the immediate seniors, so this year it was our turn to host the official fresher’s party for the juniors. Organising an event in our college was an amazing experience where everyone from our batch worked as a team and hosted the event successfully. We weren’t given much time for preparation but just a week and a half and in this time we had to get everything done from decoration and events to the selection of Mr and Miss Fresher. Since there were many people in the organising team, each person took the responsibility for a certain thing and they performed their duties in getting their job done. This way we were able to reduce the workload of each person individually. We did have the co-corporation of the seniors too with us. In the end, the event was a grand success and everybody loved the way the entire event was organised. Initially, we had a shortage of funds for the plans we made so later on we had to raise funds from all the students who were willing to contribute and eventually we pooled enough funds for the entire event. Even though there are many different stories or incidents that I can recall, hosting this event was one of the best things our entire batch did together.
Looking back I feel I made the right choice selecting Reva University. In this college, both fun and academics run hand in hand without having to compromise either one and the faculty is also very encouraging and supportive in most of the things we do. We are also encouraged to pitch new ideas to the department director if we think it’s a good idea for the development of the entire department or college and we would also be appreciated or recognised for all the good work done by us in the college. I don’t think my college life would have been this fun if I had chosen another college and had another friend group.
