The COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauage exams are conducted annually for admissions to engineering courses in Karnataka. The basic difference between the COMEDK and Uni-Gauge exams lies in the participating institutes. The COMEDK UGET exam is conducted for admissions to private engineering colleges in Karnataka only. There is no difference between the COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam pattern. Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK are the same exam. Candidates who apply for both of these exams have to appear for one single test.  The exam is a Computer-Based Test mode for a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours) minutes. There are 180 objective-type questions with four choices each and the language of the exam will be English only.
