The COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauage exams are conducted annually for admissions to engineering courses in Karnataka. The basic difference between the COMEDK and Uni-Gauge exams lies in the participating institutes. The COMEDK UGET exam is conducted for admissions to private engineering colleges in Karnataka only. There is no difference between the COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam pattern. Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK are the same exam. Candidates who apply for both of these exams have to appear for one single test.  The exam is a Computer-Based Test mode for a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours) minutes. There are 180 objective-type questions with four choices each and the language of the exam will be English only. The Uni-GAUGE exam is conducted to assess a candidate’s skills in problem-solving, analytics, and language proficiency. Questions are asked from Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

REVA University offers BTech for four-years at the UG level. The university offers BTech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Information Science, Civil, Electronics & Computer Engineering, etc. Candidates must pass Class 12 with relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate to apply for BTech.

In COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam there are no minimum marks required to qualify. All the candidates who take the exam are provided rank. However, the admisison to colleges will be beased on the ranks. Thus, better the ranks, better are th chances of getting top tier colleges and preferred course.

You will be attending one exam only. Previously these exams were being conducted as 2 separate exams. COMEDK UGET was conducted as an offline entrance exam in Karnataka. This will reduce the need for students to prepare and attend multiple exams.
